In world tier 4 you'll also start to see lucky hit with change to restore spirit on gloves and totem (think it's like 10-15% of your spirit). I got a bit bored with my pulverize build so I swapped to the Stormclaw build by Screamheart, it doesn't use any core skills so never have to worry about spirit again and the damage is more consistent than pulverize but it's a bit less tanky though. Overall loving my druid, so far clearing WT4 and nightmare dungeons up to tier 25 pretty comfortably.
Fextralife’s storm Druid build guide ignores abundance, but like you I think it’s crucial. I can’t be hitting enemies with storm strike for 5 minutes just for 3-4 shots of lightning storm
Biggest ones for me with a storm build I've been using and pulverize I was using previously is the 4 resource per cc'd enemy legendary, and the legendary that changes storm to earth skills get earthen might passive. And you can chain together some options with the legendarys like werewolf skills are now storm etc.
I don't think your taking into consideration the combination of intelligence increasing spirit regen on the druid. With other factors like total spirit, i think abundance is worth it personally.
i dont see how the 3 points into abundance makes that big of a difference? storm strikes generates what? 14 spirit? so 18% is only 2 additional spirit? just dont see how that justifies 3 hard points.
you aren't taking into consideration the additional spirit regen that is also granted from intelligence stat points on the druid. that combined with abundance and spirit after kill is mandatory to at least lv70 imo
Solve the druid? Druid has been the best carry that I have seen as a Barbarian, they just do the lightning build or slam build and kills everything in seconds..
i think its just that some people want their 1 hit kill boring build and it might not be that easy to get with druid. i tried so many builds of druid and never had any issues.

I have discovered a druid build that ive seen none else use and it absolutely slaps and is one of the funniest builds in all arpgs ive played. Better not tell it though since its my precious
We can solve all builds problems by having function trade in this a game and not this trade channel or discord bullshit. Making characters have some decent aoe/splash effects on more on kill effects and making it so you dont need 3-6 aspects to make a build feel good and have it come online ONCE you're llike level 30-40
The whole generate/spend/generate/spend play style back and forth feels like absolute shit. I wish it was more poe/LE style to where you find ways to mitigate your spending and generation of resource and can solve it only through that through some investment. Granted some set ups can do that in this game but way later in the game.
I love my druids! Every class can have improvements in some way but I just love the Druid class so much.

Spirit regen is a stat but I have not seen that yet personally.
I need some people to play on PC with. I'm struggling pretty bad on my druid, I just can't get any legendary affixes that synergize with my build.
Same.I play as werebear without earth and lightning skills and I havent found yet at 44lvl one affix that strengthen my werebear skills
druid would be great if I could find ONE tempest roar... lvl 84, zero drops

That sort of investment and needing procs JUST to manage your resource shouldn't be to that degree, thats a bit much.
