This has now become my favorite Indian history channel in English. It gives the facts as they are...nice, do keep them coming. Im not a fan of the old or the current ruling party, but this channel helps to understand what went wrong, and what we could most likely do without in the future, while taking some things of the past to appreciate from...:)

9:28 heres the aftermath of the emergency. To secure her position as PM she only have this option left. As there protests and riots going on against her. By taking out the basic right i.e Fundamental rights from people so no more protest she has to deal with.
Okay I might wrong I don't know. I'm just saying I'm understood. But God knows what has been going in her mind at that time.

Patel was mainly a leader who leads the farmer movement his vision was not as much high as nehru. He can't even think of opening a technical institution like I mentioned above.

Good and balanced explanation. I was in my first class during this period and I recall some of my senior students wearing Janata Party badges. In the first reason for JP Narain's court case against Mrs. Gandhi it should be "Govt. machinery" not "Govt. missionary" 🙂

For what? To make the most complicated tax laws in the country? Only a minuscule of the population has benefitted from your profession so far.

@@Right_Centrist have you ever attempted to learn tax laws through online? I recommend you to take a tax course and you will see how much tax you can save just by taking such classes as a businessman, CA's help the entire population of India by properly structuring the top level management, like solving the problem at its source so that entire population wouldn't suffer for financial mistake of top level management.

Indeed the 1975 emergency was unconstitutional and cruel, but how about this undeclared emergency going on in this country for last 9 years?

Is rahul gandhi and whole Congress political leaders were Arrested like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and other BJP political leaders arrested ? Who said u undeclared emergencies it's congress media as Action Speaks Louder than Words , u can see Violent Actions taken by Congress that seems emergency But No were Arrested Without fraud Under BJP . Bollywood Actor Devanand were Against emergency So Congress put this bollywood actor in Jail just because he raises his Voice against congress, Today did BJP put bollywood actor in Jail ? That's why Action Speaks louder than words and this "undeclared emergencies" word said by Congress media for BJP But BJP's Actions Not Seems to be any Emergency Otherwise Keerthi can made a Video on Undeclared emergencie But there's No Undeclared emergencies or Violent Actions that resembles any Emergency
