In the video, it was mentioned that emergency was imposed bcoz Gandhi was not happy with supreme court decision, but I couldn't understand how this emergency helped Gandhi in achieving what she wants? 9:28 heres the aftermath of the emergency. To secure her position as PM she only have this option left. As there protests and riots going on against her. By taking out the basic right i.e Fundamental rights from people so no more protest she has to deal with. Okay I might wrong I don't know. I'm just saying I'm understood.
