Any half decent Indian/Bangladeshi would be packed every night. Sindhu was at best two thirds empty. The cruise line have missed a chance not opening a curry house. This was just pretentious and overrated.
went to Sindhu on Iona yesterday. It was awful. No spicing in the dishes and bland, bland, bland. I'm not a chilli freak and do understand Indian cookery. Not a hint of cumin, coriander or cardamon in any dishes. The dahl was like lentil soup. Honestly your average high street curry house is way better than Sindhu. Spoke with the manager who said they are given the recipes by onshore and can't alter it. He agreed that the food is nothing like authentic Indian food (he is from India) and refunded our money. Don't waste your money

Sindhu is pretentious and offers nothing in the way of decent Indian food. Avoid, it's tasteless.
