Use of Pinion Puller for removing jammed pinion of Loco traction motor

when a loco pinion jammed then the loco axle is also jammed with pinion. it is not possible to move. The pinion puller is used to pull pinion from the traction motor and free jammed axle and move the loco to the next destination.
