Hello Veronica. Its being said here and there that that capsules brewed with the Next tastes stronger than the Plus. It would be an interesting test comparing the taste of the coffee between the Pop and the Plus.
I find the coffee made with plus taste more bitter than the Pop . I like the texture of the coffee made from the Pop , the Pop airy crema goes away fast and doesn’t affect the drink, the plus crema is stiff and stays longer and I really hated that. So pop is the winner for me . I also like the Pop’s cute size- thou if they come out with a automatic closing it’d be perfect 👍🏻

@@FooeyifyGet the original line Nespresso. The capsules are cheaper in the long run and you have more choices to choose from with third-party products that make capsules. For example, the original line has capsules made by Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, Ily Espresso, etc...
I was looking at the pop and the plus. The plus is older but $20 more. Which would you recommend getting between the two? It will be my first Nespresso machine. I have a Keurig and make cold brew too.
Gravity is an issue with the pop. Also height on the pour is higher with the pop therefore more air might be cooling it down…I’m thinking that over time manual loading might last longer than automatic loading on the vertiuo plus.
Just had my first Pop replaced because it produced hardly any crema. Now the second machine is the same! Hardly any crema, so I would say the new Pop machine is absolute crap. Cheap and doesn't do the job. Just about to take the second one back and perhaps go back to the original machines. BTW, the patent period for these new machines apparently is coming to an end this year sometime, so you should be able to pick up better 3rd part manufacturers of machines and also other branded capsules to fit them!

I do agree it’s great to have Bluetooth connectivity but with all the known issues out there for the Pop and Next including cool coffee, inconsistent crema, leaking issues compared the Plus that seems to be pretty much tried and tested including the electric open/closing means the plus is the more reliable option. I’ve had a Next 2 weeks and it’s going back to Nespresso for testing and service/replacement due to all of a sudden the coffee is lukewarm and the crema looks like a big bubbly witches potion. Hopefully I get offered a choice of new machine option as I’ll pick a plus over the Next now any day,

I also have both and one thing I noticed is the crema is creamier on the plus. I think it’s more airy on the pop.

la altura de la cafetera tiene mucho que ver para la formación de espuma, mientras mas alto es mas espuma, por eso la POP genera mas espuma.

Pop > Plus. It has WiFi and Bluetooth and you can update the software. Plus is just old.
Plus is more popular because is reliable.
It's not. Actually Pop improved on all fronts. Plus is quite old and when you add the automatic lid.. its another point of failure.@@AlexLay
