Seems like a decent product, great review, a better option is the Pecron E3600LFP power station, it lists for $1599.......

Full review? Can we get a teardown to see how its internally constructed? Can batteries be replaced easily? What quality of cells are used? BMS? What about a duration test to show its a full 230Ah?
I do like what I see construction wise, but really need some more verification of the product quality.

yea i agree. it seemed more like an ad than a review. hyping the product up before it was even used... kinda weird

I used it over a month prior to publishing this review. Grade A cells. I would love to do a load test but I don't have the load tester or much of a budget. If I sound hyped, it's because I am. The included DC-DC charger and a simple install, won me over. Sorry this video isn't a teardown. If there was ever a problem with the unit, is when you'll see a tear down.

I think they managed to make the unit so small by putting all the chargers outside the unit. 😆😆😆

Like it but expensive, can't see justifying the price.
Ecoflow Delta 3+ is $600 and gives up to 1800w on Ecoboost with quick charging.
Also worth carring 2k Honda generator for emergencies and charging.

Not really a fair comparison. The Comvolt has 3X the Battery Capacity.

@@DaveOTG, Depends on usage, I travel with induction, and 1800w easily powers induction.

That is the size of the inverter. In terms of actual battery capacity, not a fair comparison 1000Wh vs 3000Wh

Solar input is killing this unit. Peak amount of solar is about 6 hours a day. Getting that fully recharged is gonna be a challenge. The larger units are gonna be even worse. Shame really, looks 👀 like a winner outside of the solar input. I’ll take a hard pass on this one.

I bought one, and its in-car charging is a highlight, which I think is more suitable for users with RV

What are you powering going through 230Ah a day?

    • @latymz
      @latymz หลายเดือนก่อน

@@DaveOTG That all depends on the situation. Most of my efforts are geared towards emergency preparedness. I have a typical sized family. If the power is out that isn’t very much in terms of essentials. Especially for any extended period. Thus my criticism on the solar input. You need a high enough input to power essential items without draining the battery. Stand by consumption of the inverter is also important. High frequency inverters typically consume more energy simply being on.

Ngl, I have 5 jackeries and I don’t even live in a van, the only reasons I am watching this review are
    1. I like to support your channel bc I enjoy your content
    2. You are sexy af! Ex: biceps and forearms at 0:12 and again at 0:18

@@odettec1 heck yea he does. ….but he already knows,…. I’ve been drooling over him for a good long while now (over a year)!!
I’m a longgggg time admirer! Not many single men are both this good looking AND this wholesome. I love supporting his channel and watching his content, even the stuff that isn’t necessarily relevant to me. I love everyone but I am super selective as to whom I let into my life on a deeper level, I surround myself with quality because I believe that bad company corrupts good morals,…. Dave honestly seems like someone I would bring into my (real) life should he be someone I crossed paths with irl. I live a bit away but I do enjoy him via his videos! ((I would say all of that regardless of his appearance but the eye candy is certainly a nice bonus, too!!))
