That was beyond a mere Furnado, that was a full blown FURRICANE!!
It was hilarious that he kinda fell in love with the dryer when he got used to the noise of it.
Furricane! 😂🥰
Category 5 fur storm!
😂❤😂
I had the same thought
When I was hospitalized missing my furry babies, a lady stepped into my door and asked if I would like to have a therapy visit. It was a Leonberger!! What a sweet bundle of fur. You did a great job on Walter.❤❤
I was sitting in urology and was given fish crackers to give a Lab dog. Apparently the local farm dog does his rounds in waiting areas. The dog smelled so bad and looked like it just rolled in mud, had a quick rinse and came to the hospital. My hand was oily and gritty…as I sit in my hospital gown. I thought dogs would have to be clean?
Walt is a good boy. His grinch feet are enormous. He did the best he could.
Now those are some Grinch feet !!!
@@justseekingtruth3998 The Grinchiest! 😂
I love his name and his grinch feet 😂
She had to excavate his paws from all that fur!
I agree
Amazingly well behaved for his very first time
What a transformation... Great work Vanessa and beautiful Walter ❤
His reaction to seeing her was just a delight!
Yes.......his big happy smile..❤😊
Is that much flying fur even LEGAL?
Such a big lover!!❤❤❤❤
He almost knocked her down with his tail!😂
Oh da hair that came out
There is a Leonberger at our town library and he hangs out with the kids while the kids read with him. Very sweet dogs!!
Big dogs in a library is my new description of heaven ❤🐶❤📚❤
My inner child is envious! Sounds like such comforting storytime and an intelligent town library to allow!
props to your local library! that is both sensible and wonderful.
Hats off to his owner! What a good, handsome boy. Give him all the treats and toys.
@@bossfan49Professionally groomed. He wasn't matted so he's obviously been brushed and most likely bathed at home.
@@bossfan49 You are denser than the coat of a husky, aren't you... That dog is obviously well cared for and brushed at home. My dog went to a professional groomer for the first time in his life when he was 8 years old, and he was a Bernese Mountain dog cross. We brushed and washed him at home. This dog is happy, well behaved and in great condition. So yeah, definitely hats off to the owner!
My grandparents had a Bernese Mix, too. He lived on a farm and had no professional groom. He was outside all day digging in the ground like crazy so he wouldnt look like that the next day. He also loved to eat horse poop and rolled over it in the gras.
@@j.k.567 Haha, the reason mine had to get a deeeep groom was because he found a giant dead, rotting carp and decided to wear every molecule of it on his coat. That was not a fun car ride....
@@fredelmo Oh... But good when you get them into the car. My grandparents also had a shepherd dog who loved to walk to the neighbours. Once he went that far they had to drive to pick him up but he refused to go into the car so he had to walk by with his leash through the window.
I do believe he wins 1st place for grinchiest feet ever! Such a handsome boy!!
His floofy feet are amazing. I can't wait to see the grinch feet tamed.
Walter has some Magnificent Grinch Feet 😂
the grinchiest feet by far, trim was so satisfying
@@gurty0 There's an idea for an episode: A compilation of grinch feet.
And then she rode Walter off into the sunset... That is a huge, gorgeous animal. So sweet, too.
It's a great sign when the dog sees water and just wants a drink
I saw a Leonberger a few times at a local lake. The owner would bring him there, get in the water, and go on a swim to the other end of the lake and back. The Leonberger would faithfully sit in the same spot, waiting for his owner until he came back. I'll always remember how calm and well-behaved that dog was.
These dogs come from my hometown Leonberg in Baden- Württemberg. Great dogs! ❤
Look the end of the Rammstein - Deutschland Video. The pubs are Leonberger.
@@schwarzwolf8663 pups ;)
Oh wow, this video should have you smiling 😃 ❤
He looks kinda like an ginormous German Shepherd. He was a good boi for his first ever professional groom.
are they good country deep woods farm dogs? good around other humans and children?
(Northern Canada has black bears and rarely wolves)
A dog that huge MUST be socialized and trained to avoid disaster. The owner has clearly put in the work to ensure this guy is chill and friendly. Beautiful big boi!
Yes, but having been originally bred from Newfie’s and st Bernard’s, as well as Great Pyrenees, most tend to be pretty mellow.
What disaster could you imagine?
It seems he's also a chill dog breed yet intelligent; companion for royalty, versatile as a farm dog, great with family kids and other animals and excellent therapy dogs too!
@waninigichuki1732 While breeds have tendencies, they still have to be trained and socialized to reach their potential. Just because Leonbergers *can* be those things doesn't mean they are that once mama pops them out. There are people capable of screwing up Labradors.
@@TheTataNiniLeonbergers are huge. Like any huge dog they need training because they could hurt someone while being friendly. Imagine them jumping up on a small child or frail senior, or even just plowing into them when zooming around or excited.
Leonburgers are not savages, any dog needs a little socialisation, but I doubt that in normal life that one will turn into a monster ! They were not bred as guards.
I'm thinking dog grooming could be an Olympic sport
We know Vanessa has built some major upper body strength. Wanna arm wrestle? Lol!
He looks a big gentle teddy bear 😂 no barking, no complain, pure angel 😊
I used to own a Leo. Man i miss him!! He was huge, gentle and pretty damn dippy. Such an amazing breed
0:08 Walter, "I am not a beast! I am a hidden beauty! Please display my beauty!"
Walter's such a handsome patient good boy
I love when we get to see the reunion of pet and owner, and the owner’s happy surprise at how beautiful their pet is.
He seemed pretty chill in the shower, brushing and shaving….he’s beautiful…
His hairy feet looked like Clysdale feet when they come out marching like in a parade. 🙀A beautiful sweet dog.
Walter is a very handsome pup, with a sweet temperament. Such a good fluffy boy.😊
His coat was so shiny & beautiful after the groom. Went from ordinary to fancy boy. Another great job by Vanessa. 🎉
He’s half the dog but twice the gentleman after his groom. What a delightful big old sweet angel ❤❤❤
and leaving a big gentleman-ly dump too!
Flew home from the Minneapolis airport yesterday and they had a Leonberger to greet people in the main lobby of the terminal after security. Gorgeous dog, and he was such a sweetheart. Just enjoying all the pets and people. ❤
Now those were some gringe feet! Like a bit of werewolf trying to escape, haha It's always lovely to see big happy dogs that react so well to things.
Grinch feet are my favourite thing!
I always love the owner’s reaction to the result of the grooming ❤️
We almost got one after our first GSD passed. Sweet dispositions on every one I've ever seen.
I actually saw one of these dogs the other week at a community event. it was massive and I got to pet it. From what the owner said, the dog was one of only 30 in Queensland!
The grinchiest of Grinch feet 😍😄
His refusing water had me thinking to myself 'Begone, peasant'. 🤣
I had a giggle seeing her offer her client a bowl of water, since my hairdresser always makes a point of offering me water when she's working on me.
What a giant beautiful fluffy beast. I love all the different colours in his coat
I had a sweet mutt of a dog with the same kind of coloring and fur, only 1/2 the size and a narrower snout. She's been gone 6 years, still gives me a twinge.
Walter, he has such a giant sweetheart, and having someone like vanessa be so patient helps
Not the massive, steaming, uncensored, jump-scare dump at the end 💀
When she said " Feel free to drop a dump, I mean, a comment below." 😂
i think you mean dump-scare
I hope they haven't been taking him to Taco Bell. That did not look good.
@@bg147 Stress poops are a thing... even in humans.
For his first groom, Walter was a real gentleman. ❤
I will never get tired of seeing dogs being in love with water/water hoses, pools, etc. it brings out your inner child like this upload did for me💞🐶💞
Those grinch feet were the GRINCHIEST!
So precious and such a good baby!!!🧡🥹
Giant is an understatement
For this buddy to have never been groomed. Amazing
A big ol’ pure sweetheart♥️♥️♥️ I don’t understand how some people can dislike something so sweet and innocent like dogs. And cats. Just a big ol’ baby♥️
It might be the size that puts people off. Behaviour does not not factor in with each breed. Niles was, originally, an out of control Lab/Neuphie Cross we adopted off of the side of the Highway. We had to work HARD with that dog to make him a perfect Family Dog for us.
I have, often, wondered if Niles would have made a good Service Dog, if he had had the right start in life.
Had one for 7 years before the cancer got him, did not go to the vet one time during those 7 years until the end. Very well behaved breed and easy to train.
Besides his annual visits you mean? Sorry for your loss. 😢
@JBOD Depending on the area some people never take dogs to a vet.
@NaeSTay That's very sad to hear. They should get their annual checkups, shots etc. Especially important as they get older. Same for cats and other pets.
@@JBOD For some people, vet care is not very accessible so unless their pets are deathly ill, they just opt to not make the trip. Also with the fact vet care is expensive, as is pet insurance, some pet owners just can't afford to go to the vet.
@@JBOD Yes, besides the usual checkups, he was very healthy.
He is so generous, sharing his shampoo with his groomer.
Oh he is absolutely gorgeous with all of that shiny fur 😂❤
You made a magnificent dog even more so.
I know a leonberger. Hes the biggest, soppiest, love bug you'll ever meet. When happy and settled they suck on soft toys, drooling like mad and sleep like babies ❤
You are an artist when it comes to grooming.
Love love love it...I really like when you include the owners reactions when you can...❤❤❤
The "leo" (lat. "lion") in "leonberger" is a real thing. 🤩
Walter was such a good boy.
I had a Leo/Shepard mix. He was the most amazing, loyal dog. Love this breed
Yes to more owner reactions!!!
@7:10 - Those aren't Grinch feet, those are Don King feet!!!
Awesome transformation. Walter was a very good dog for his grooming. And he was SO excited to see his owner at the end. You did a wonderful job with him.
What a gentle giant
Walter, the hairiest paws in the eat, west, north and south. I true joy to see this handsome boy in your hands. ❤
how BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! He really tolerated a lot! What a gooood temperament
My parent’s neighbor had 3 Leonbergers at one time and they were just amazing! Love them so much and he’s a beautiful man.
Walter's "after" is gorgeous. What an amiable fella too❤
I love seeing the owners' reactions. That truly was a beautiful transformation. Great work!
The owner reactions are great!
I really enjoy the ones that include owners reactions
Trimming his paw fluff was so satisfying 🥰
What a beautiful guy! So sweet! ❤
Mother's are always right, he did look handsome. He was very well behaved and needs lots of cuddles now. Thank you Vanessa.
I really enjoy when the parent's pick up and seeing their reaction!
What a sweetheart!! Very well behaved for a first groom!!
He was so good…even seemed to like the dryer! And the finished groom made him look majestic 👍👍
I really love the reaction of the owners! Gorgeous doggo!!!
I had a Leonberger years ago in Canada, wonderful dogs. Very smart, very calm, and surprisingly good guard dogs. A true family member. They are hard to find and a bit expensive but they are the absolute best if you have kids. We used to go hiking in the mountain, summer or even winter with snow shoes. He always stayed with the last person in the line and watched everything.
I love learning about all these gorgeous dog breeds. might be my second favorite thing after furnados 😄
Such a good, sweet boy and so patient for never been groomed. Those paws full of hair and lots shedding. I felt the freshness myself after you finished the 3 hr grooming Vanessa. Thank you🎉😅. This good boy have lost 10 kgs after the grooming😂. Hugs from Italy
What a sweet gentle big boy 🐾🐾❤️
Good job Walter 🥰
Walter is the perfect name for that boy. Not sure why, but it really suits him.
I agree with Walter’s mom, he is so handsome! Nice work with an epic furnado!
best one yet ... love this channel ... thank you for doing these videos
I love a good fur-nado! And Walter’s is great.
I love it when the parents see their children after the groom ❤
Such a beautiful boy! Well behaved for grooming!❤❤❤
I have never seen nor heard of this breed but he sure is beautiful. What a great temperament and very well behaved for never being to a groomer in 3 years. He really did super well. It was a pleasure to watch you groom him. He was so happy to see his owner and she to see him looking fantastic. ❤😊
What a super dog. We're they the grinchiest feet ever?? I love the owner reactions.
Walter looks like he came in wearing giant furry slippers. What a gem!
Very big and very handsome! So sweet. And very very fluffy, oh my… ❤
It's wonderful to hear the owners so excited about how good their dogs look when your done with them. 🥰
He is just STUNNING
What a well behaved young man! Did great for his first time. And he looks so good after! ❤❤❤
What a good dog ❤
I don't understand why, or how, anyone could give these vids a thumbs down, but here we are. I'd give it more than 1 thumbs up if I could.
Great Beast of a doggo. 👍👍👍👍👍
Leonbergers are one of my dream dogs!! If I ever win the lottery, I will get one. 🐾
I was close to have one when I was a kid. So our dog died and we looked for a new one in the animal shelter and found a very light colored Leonberger. However the shelter was sorry and said they can't give it to anyone, but since nobody else wanted it, they put us on the waiting list. We asked why we couldn't adopt her and the shelter said her owners had done criminal things that caused them to lose their dog and the police has a right to say when the dog was free for adoption and so we came to the shelter twice a week, took her onto long walks and hoped that we hear that the police finaly said we can have her, but 3 months in, we saw a dog in the local newspaper of the same shelter and my grandpa saw it saying "hey the article about this dog says she deeply seeks for living in a new home and hopes to be adopted soon. Maybe you should get a dog, that you can adopt, instead of waiting for a dog you might never have. And you're last dog was a German shepherd too before, so maybe this would be great, even if it isn't your desired dog" And so we went to the shelter to adopt a German shepherd, who sadl died on having cancer 3 years later, but was such sweet girl. My mom constantly asked the shelter if the Leonberger would be still in the shelter and what the police said, weeks after we adopted another dog, but oneday the shelter said the police finaly called back about the status of the Leonbeger and on the next day a family came to adopt a dog, but since we already had a dog, the shelter decided to give it to the family who was interested. My mom asked why this happend like that and the shelter spoke up: The owners have been very close from going to jail, however they arn't sentensed to jail, so they would still roam around freely and could've access to stealing the dog if they see it on the streets cause they said they will take the dog back, no mather if they need to hurt someone or not, if they see the dog again, so they decided it would be better to give the dog to a family who lives many kilometers away in order to keep the dog and the new owners save. We than said that we understand it, but would've been happy if we could've adopted 2 dogs. Well 1 year later we adopted a 2nd dog tho, who was a Jack Russel Terrier
Love him. Had a St mix and people thought he was a Leon. Best dog I’ve had.
Hahaha. You joke at the end made me lol 😅😊
I liked when she showed him his butt hair she shaved too! 😂
@@melissadropdead4619 hahaha. Yea and the way he looked at it 😂
Your videos became my daily routine ❤
As always, amazing groom, Vanessa.
Leos are such gentle giants, he was amazing
I don't think there has been another pupper where the name fit so well...Walter! 🤣🤣🤣🐶🐶🐶🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Aw, you did a great job. Walter is gorgeous .
Thank goodness such a huge dog is calm and confident.
I love the part where they get nails clipped and paws shaved! He was a prince for that! He’s a really great dog!❤❤❤
He’s a gorgeous puppy
Walter has such a wonderful disposition!🥰
