    Acc. to the tire-talk. Do i undertsand this right, with this tire-image the tire is done? How much mm do you still had at the indicator measurpoint? What was your solution (maybe on the suspension or the tires?) to get a better tire-image or don't have any more problems in the accelerationzones? What was the track-temperature? Sorry for my few questions, but im very interesed.

    The marshall signal was "slow down", not "stop".
    It is a common marshall signal when exiting pit lane as they check for any issues with the bike, particularly any fluid leaks.

    Fascinating how complex tire wear is, exactly why you need people that know what they're talking about (every aspect of the bike, not just tires) around you if you want to succeed at a "higher" level of racing.

  • @Nemesis74racer

    Is that the hand signal to stop? I always thought it meant slow down/reduce your speed, not stop.

    • @bremCZ
      @bremCZ 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is the signal for slow down. You see it all the time at pit exit as marshalls check bikes as the exit the pit.

    • @Nemesis74racer
      @Nemesis74racer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bremCZ so why did youtuber stop? If he shouldn't have stopped then that's his bad, not the guy who hit him.

    • @bremCZ
      @bremCZ 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Nemesis74racer He mistook the slow down signal for a stop it seems, and yes, caused the issue. In amatuer series this should be covered in riders breifings. If the riders weren't informed of the pit exit procedure and signals, then the fault is with the race organizers rather than the riders.

    Worst crash I ever had was at the slowest speed because kinetic energy wasn't distributed over a long time span/slide distance. It was actually on a bicycle. I went to bunny hop onto the kerb and the quick release front wheel came out sending me face first into the pavement. I couldn't move for about ten minutes. Shocking impact.
