This zone is the most secret and loot dense area I have experienced in the game so far. Wow, there are so many hidden and side areas. This game is absolutely amazing! This area alone has more content than half of most modern AAA games. Add in the important fact that all of the items in this game are in places or require acts to get them that make sense. They aren't just lying around randomly or given to you automatically for completing a quest. The items exist in the world in a logical and beleivable manner.
@higherlearning1013 I put in 150 hours for my first playthrough. Much like Elden Ring, it is almost too much of a good thing. It's easily one of the best RPGs and games of all time, but I doubt I will attempt another campaign anytime soon. Similar to Elden Ring, BG3 caused me to take a multi-month break from gaming. Both games have so many hours of amazing content, I find it actually exhausting. What a problem to have. Enjoy your playthrough, and I would recommend looking into some mods. There are some great quality of life and basic mechanics mods you can install mid campaign without issue.
@@HArryvajonasBG3 is significantly better than Elden Ring, imo. There's very little in BG3 that feels unnecessary or out of place. Not saying that ER has a bunch of stuff like that, but certainly more than BG3. The only other games that made me feel the way BG3 does were Witcher 3 and Red Dead 2. Last of Us 1 and 2 were also up there.
@@HArryvajonasBtw, 150 hours TOTAL for your first playthrough? I'm 30 hours over that and I'm still in ACT 1. Though I am FINALLY about to go on to the second Act, haha. I think I screwed up by playing the game this thoroughly, because I don't know if I will be able to play it again any time soon. If I did, the only things I would be doing differently are the builds and the conversation options and the choices, but all of the exploring and the feeling of finding something amazing and unique; the feeling of finding what feels like an incredibly secret area without using guides or YT videos or asking a friend... All of that stuff has really made this experience very special.
I’m an absolute loot goblin and check every nook and cranny before I leave an area, making my playthrough hours longer than necessary but I really enjoy it. Still, I would’ve missed out had I not watched this, and not having to navigate with the levers was helpful, thank you. Plus your accent is very attractive. Made the 23 minutes even more enjoyable. ❤
I didn’t know there were four masks until I wanted to check whether or not I should sell them. Couldn’t find a decent article to help me find the locations of the other two. I appreciate the video, I’m much more of a visual learner than a reader and this helped a lot. ☺️
Thank you for this video. This was very helpful and efficient and easy to follow with no useless commentary. You clearly know what you're doing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. If you ever decide to make one of the Shadowlands, that would be a wish come true. No pressure, though
lol anyone else not play early access and has spent close to 60-70 hours in act 1? (Granted 25%+ is probably AFK/reading lore/looking things up online)
Lol yes, I'm 80+ hours in here in grymforge. I've still never been to the goblin camp. I found my way down into the depths and been running around. Most of my time is exploring and character building or inventory management. Lol

I can confirm that you can actually make 2 pieces of weapons/armour at the adamantite forge. I found another mithril location in the area, grabbed it, jumped back down into the forge and put in a new template of what i wanted as well as the mithril, put more lava in and smacked it down. :D

You get an achievement for winning that fight without using the forge to crush him. I think if you kill the forge boss with just one ore in your inventory, the game bugs and you can’t craft a second piece. At the least I think that’s what happened to me.
