Didnt know about loot changing from the chest. But if you bring a sussur bloom to the chest it dispels the magic and you can see the transformed items inside the chest
@@daquemasquieren yeah I was replying to the fact that a susser blossom reveals what everything is. It's pretty useless unless you can see what's in it.
@@scrub1967 I guess if you made it a fire barrel chest specifically. I am thinking more along the lines of it being a bag of holding cuz it's useless if you can't tell what item is what.
i got some strange options talking to bernard , quoted from the books and that dude was offering hugs haha .. think i may have overread some books .. after multiple attempts i just had to end up killing him for ring /basement as he never walked away to active it . also the chest of redundant items that changes things is OP .... if you loot it in bags it makes heavy stuff 0.5 weight , sure it weighs 20 itself but filling it up with weapons / armors you save SO MUCH SPACE
@maag78 ya I gave it to lae'zel to carry and her weight almost cut in half when I filled it with rubbish. Some strange interactions you can do with the chest also, because it changes the names of your items it can be hard to look for something you want , putting a sussar flower into the chest shows you all the original items again ,but it removes the "color" quality of the item . So a green / blue becomes grey when you take it out. A easy fix is to take 2 "coloured" items out of the chest and just swap them around in your bags , they go from grey to green/blue again 👍
I found out in another video you can techincally destroy the turrets. It can only be destroyed supposedly through only electric attacks so like witch bolt don't know if it permenantly destroys them but i've seen it.
Not having the one right answer to a problem is what makes this game so great, you could use anything that counters the resistance (that is everything except lightning attacks as you mentioned) like the weapons from the forge. This way it should be possible to overcome the minus 10 dmg per attack of the towers, maybe there are even attacks that are strong enough to just blast them to pieces. Divine smite would come to mind, but dont know how multihit attacks work against minus dmg. I had no lightning attacks and did not think about the flowers, but obscuring their vision worked just as well.
You can actually defeat the arcane cannons pretty easy if you just want to march in the front door and not fool with the flowers, they are nearly immune to physical attacks, but seem particularly susceptible to a clerics Guiding Bolt (and likely any Light-based magic). I just positioned my Cleric behind the rock columns that are in front of the Tower to avoid the cannons, went into turn based mode, popped out and fired of a guiding bolt. One shotted the first cannon and two shotted the second. Then did the same with the two interior ones by hiding behind the pallets.
Yea just have to manually turn off turn based mode. Same thing happened to me. I was trying to flee or something. Finally decided to try ending turn based and it worked
It looks like the cape you get as part of a dark urge playthrough... Speak to the bard Alfira in the Druid Grove, help her with her song, she should join you in camp with your next long rest... And you'll receive it as a reward... That's as spoiler free as I can make it. Edit: in case you don't know, Dark Urge is an origin option.
@@unamicodigesu9920 haha😅 sorry console peasant here on Xbox unfortunately didn’t get my hands on this gem til 10 mins after the VGAs when they released to Xbox so it’s still new release in my head haha. Already have 400 + hours
Just a thought as I cant load my savegame atm -.- Has anyone tried to pick the chest that changes items stored within, because changig a 30,0kg chainmail into a wooden spoon would come pretty handy for picking up everything for vendoring and inventory management in general Edit: gone back to the chest, picked it up and put every heavy armor into it. So it does work =) But it seems it messes with the tooltip of the items, every item will be white instead of whatever quality it was before, stats stay the same.
At 4:55 and being a Astarion simp, put the collar on Astarion and press the button with main (or I guess any other character). You're so welcome, enjoy the moans.
Man i know you don't have a clue about D&D lore but this game just wanks everyone who read the books and gives a shit about cosmology and shit. You can push the 52HP construct down the tower through the window. Does 40 damage and gives you time to kill the adds while he comes back up
You can pick up and carry the chest of the mundane around with you. It transforms the objects inside and reduces their weight.
WOW! Thank you!
That's been patched so it doesn't work anymore.
Not true. Now you need to drink a potion of giant str to pick it up. (Or increase strength another way)
What if you shrink the chest then pick it up🤔

Thank you, I love finding every hidden item/area this game has. there is always something i missed no matter how thurough i am
the turrets can be taken out if you hit them with electrical damage
Not sure if it's a glitch but after taking the turrets down to zero hp, it shows 17/17 but you can exit combat and it is deactivated.
Too bad sussur blooms don't work outside of underdark. Wanted to give an enemy caster a hug then pummel them
You can carry it in a pouch with you though, outside of Underdark, not loosing it's powers
they moved the club of giant strength to the stool behind the guy standing in the corner where it was in this video
thank you for the comment. it was sorta hidden back in the corner. i had to turn my camera view low to the ground to see it.
If you move the giant stool n sit on it you will get a +1 on strength.. who ever sits on it
0:45, the turrerts _CAN_ be killed, throu electric attacks, like shock hand
there's no guiding light ring for me
