This is exactly what I do!
    Very compete description!
I too love teaching CMD for boxing mixed with Dutch style kickboxing for MMA. When we throw the low kick if your opponent is good at checking the low kick, you can hip point kick makes it harder to check, we call the kick under the check a submarine kick/ sweep.
Look up, kick down, look down, kick up.
I've been training martial arts and combat sports since I was 9 now I'm 48. You guys look great!
    Ty for posting

As I started mma late, (at 43), it was a video from Mark that motivated me to Actually just go and take the class. I was on the fence for long and finally took the plunge. I am following your content Mark, and always i am happy when there is a new Video. Mark makes a lot of sense in my opinion. Keep em coming!

      Word! I started at 42.
2.5 years later I'm still training. It definitely takes some getting used to, but I spent too much time training before I got on the mat. I dysmenorrhoea want to be shitty, but the only way to train MMA is to get into the gym.
      Good luck

Coach, which style of Kickboxing is better for MMA, Muay Thai or Kickboxing (Dutch Kickboxing)?

Coach, which wrestling style is best for MMA: Freestyle or Greco-Roman (considering that you can only choose one, to be able to train the other martial arts...)?

@@mateus1600 Both styles have merits but I'm leaning towards freestyle. Most expertd think that collegiate wrestling is the best for MMA since get-ups are rewarded.

@@MMACoach79Thanks Coach! I live in Brazil, here we don't have collegiate, only freestyle and Greco-Roman. So I'll choose freestyle since my focus is MMA, I think it will be a good choice...

Do you think I can still practice mma if I have dislocated my shoulder 3 times?
I was a doctor and I'm going to go to physiotherapy, but I'm still not sure that it will be the same. The injuries I've had have been from competitions and sparring and I'm wondering if I'll have as much strength or if I'll have to give up some training or techniques and become a limited fighter from that point of view . I want to mention that I'm only 16 and I'm afraid I'll have to quit MMA. Have you seen fighters with such injuries and if so how did they manage to continue, what would you do if you were in my place?
Thank you for your attention and I fully trust your teachings

The right way to approach this is to do surgery if absolutely necessary, then rehab as long as it takes, and see if that will take care of the issue. Fearing this or fearing that will not get you anywhere. Get to work.

Bro, can you make an update on the stem cells you had ? Did you had another shot recently?

    • @MMACoach79
      @MMACoach79  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

No, just the one I shot the video about and my knee is good. Like I mentioned in the follow up video, I don't know if it's good because I had bone spurs in my knee removed a month before the stem cells treatment, or because of the stem cells treatment, or both? I suspect I would have kept having issues if they didn't remove the the spurs.
