NOTE: It's not the battery (fire alarm). It's hard wired in ;)
Justin Rhodes it could not be a fire alarm but be a carbon monoxide alarm and is beginning to sense it in the air
You just avoided about 1,000 "Check the battery!" comments LOL
Ours are hard wired too, and by law, are required to have battery back-up in case of extended power outages. When that back up battery goes in one, it sets off all the rest. Really rather unpleasant.

My grandpa had this trap for flies that was made of wood and metal window screening, he baited it with fish scraps after fishing, it worked great. He fed the flies to the chickens. Let me see if I can find a schematic.
Found one! Grandpa's was rectangular, but you get the drift. I don't think I would buy it from here, but this just gives you an idea:

Every time I see you mixing that feed with that large wooden spoon It makes me want to cry. I want it for my kitchen. They are just so expensive.

If your fire alarm has batteries. The alarm on off is a warning that the batteries need replacing.
Unfortunately it's hard wired.
The fly traps I used were homemade with raw meat inside and some water...look on line...once they go in they can’t get out.....found the directions on Pinterest .
JUSTIN, If you put something in the fly trap that will attract the flies, like when you did for the chickens,. put like fruit or something. You know what Im talking about.
We've baited it. It doesn't work.
We are having good results with the plastic bag hanging fly traps. They do have a fragrance :-0
Dust will set off your fire detector, maybe feed or bedding floating in the air. You may want to vacuum it.

I don't think Donald can get under the feeder with the cover on it. If the feeder was taller I believe Donald could get something to eat. I hope you fix it soon so he doesn't starve???? Donald is such a great guard goose! 🤗🤔🌻
Not true. I saw him eat out of it today. Oh, and I would never starve any of my animals ;) Besides a Goose doesn't even need grain and could totally sustain on the grass.

She got spayed.
John Chase ~ She was spayed, then got out of the cone the vet put on and licked the incision, opening it up. They took her back to the vet and she got two staples, apparently. Then, those came out so she went back again and they put in three. Let's hope it heals up fine this time.
