Story
This contains the City of Vilcabamba and as a bonus, I added a shotgun and a few goodies at the beginning of the level.
I must say I was quite impressive when I played his level. Even it's just a simple demo, I can see a different view of TR1. His level looks like Re-imagined of TR1/TRA. It's so widely open to see the whole vlicabamba ruin in the beginning. Can't wait to see the full version. I can say Sabatu is quite fast in building his own level 👍👍

Ah the original Tomb Raider will always be my favourite of the games, and I always enjoy seeing a redoing of any of its levels. Seriously need more of these made. Thanks again for another fantastic playthrough 😀

As a kid I had this silly belief that there were other level portions behind locked door or areas you couldn’t access. To my biggest disappointment I’ve found out that of course there was nothing there (with the help of a gameshark). These classic customs heal this trauma in my poor little heart by providing exactly what I hoped to find at those inaccessible places... An extent to the original levels and more adventures. Much love to this community for their fantastic job with these classic customs, and this channel for picking them for gameplay. ❤️
yeah and even the locker in Lara's Home. Can't belive it's just an empty alcove behind it 😱😱
That one was a massive disappointment.
Beautifully designed level, I really enjoyed this. The original Tomb Raider soundtrack will always remain the best, such a masterpiece.

This is incredible! The original level holds such a special place in my heart because watching my brother play it was my first ever experience with the game (and I think gaming in general). It’s so interesting to see what could’ve been behind all those doors and other parts of the city ☺️
Beautiful and faithful to TR1. But it looks very complex and difficult to follow, a real mind bender of level. I bow to your prowess :)
it's not really complex. There are only 2 routes to go first 😉
Nothing feels so Tomb Raider as the first Tomb Raider. The more technology and better graphics, the less magic, for some reason. The music is still the best in my opinion, followed by Tomb Raider: Legend OST.

I played this game as a child. I forgot how it sounds like the wolves are howling "ho! Ho! Ho!" Until I heard the wolves howling here.
It's the first time I heard the sound from the wolves. 😂

You'd think that being underwater will save you from Boulder PTSD but then this level got made.
haha and the velocity of the boulders remained the same, even they are in the water 😂

In the old TR games I feel that everyone is gangster until you see a boulder just hanging around a corner or in the air.
In these games I have to move to one square then check and if i see that thing moving I just yeet n panic away.
But the death animation is always hilarious in the end.
Oh man, reimplementing the Compass back as the Stats viewer was a great idea. Good level design too.

This looks more like an ancient city, but we have to understand the limitations back then.
There isn't a way to put the FMV Lara model in these levels, like in the Conversion mod project?
Nope, tr1- tr3 model are hardcoded.
I liked playing this level but there was a problem for me, i didn't get to finish it because when i saved nothing happened which means that i had to play the level from the start if i quit the game. Don't know if i am the only one though
that's really weird. Do you have "Saves" folder in your game folder? If not, you can try to create one and attempt to save it to see if it resolves for you 😅
All pushing/pulling work for a small medpack 😅 Very nice level though, loved it!!!

This is the way I like Tomb raider and the first one was such a classic and to make a custom level is great...not sure if I asked before...but are these levels playable to any of us and I imagine it is on a pc this gaming..🤗
