Am listening to this program after having finally read Kalinaki’s book: KB and Uganda’s Unfinished Revolution this week. The good general has mellowed and is full of wisdom. I regret not having fully engaged you good colonel when we met in Den Haag (Egyptian restaurant adjacent to the Hilton off the ISS building many years ago). Am gradually growing old now and get wishful for I might just want to buried back home. The opportunity we have lost under your stewardship due to our “lukewarm” attitude is impossible to claw back. May the God lord and the ancestors be kind to us. You fought a good fight uncle.
There are only three tribes in Kenya out of almost fifty who vote like sheep. Kikuyus, Kalenjins and Luos. The rest of us Kenyans are very diplomatic. We vote for whoever has our best interest. If Kalonzo takes on Ruto in 2027 it’s still going to be a close race because Kalenjins and Kikuyus will be on one side versus the rest of Kenya. It’s just unfortunate that the two tribes are more than half of the population.
It's true that in Kenya we are not perfect. We still have issues. The measures we have taken to ensure we have a bit of civility in our electoral process is out of fear of violence due to the high voltage and competitive politics in our country which are still run around tribal lines though we have not seen much of it this year. It's not like we are "advanced" than Uganda when it comes to civility. We also have crooks in our country 😂.Hopefully Uganda finds a way out of the situation they are in.Finally on behalf of KOT I apologise.
Please Uganda huslers remove that dynasty..... Come together and throw that dynasty..... But don't vote for young boys who will sell u to west imperialist
Not even the colonial states emerge through a simple dialogue and consensus, in many cases there were wars between and within the nations. France was an example, the British and Cromwell etc. Eventually of course the UN conventions were about enforcement of these Rights short of citizens picking all pierces and taking power. NRM essentially was about just that. Typically power corrupts and today M7 uses the other institutions to reinforce his absolute power... He tries to balance the multilateral players and global institutions by offering little. As for the Ugandan citizens he ignores us. So these Rights must be obtained by hook or crook.. period. Certainly not through a dialogue with M7
Dr. Kizza Besigye stop lying. Civic education in Uganda ended after the government you fought so hard to bring to power came to power (NRA/M). Even under dictator Amin, civic education was still there. Under the second Obote government, civic education was still there. The NRA/M you brought to power removed civic education to make Ugandans children blind and stupid. Stop saying that it happened after independent 1962. Many Ugandans, who were not there, would think immediately after independence, civic education disappeared.
This is superb.
Real great minds.

besijeh is a sharp leader...the uganda environment is not condusive for him.
my thoughts too, the guys is always ahead of times
Money doesn't work in Kenya. You give electorates money, they take it but vote the ones they want!

Man Kenya is no different from Uganda infact I admire museveni coz the war is not against each other it's against the coloniser.
It is super disrespectful when having a discussion with someone or people and they are busy on their phones. Lack of etiquette.
Phones are used as writing pads -
Was there no violation of human rights within the pre-colonial nations in the current Uganda?
There were violations including political intolerance by Ssekekabaka Mwanga
