Geez, been down the Great Ocean Road probably a few times in life. I am a Victorian, but I never knew the road was made as a war memorial. Cannot believe I had to learn it from someone overseas.
I do not think I ever come across an Emu just on a trail walk so would have been a bit freaky, given how big they are.
I have never seen any of your videos before, but damn, the footage is awesome. Makes me feel like I was at the beach. But we not had any really warm does recently so those ocean waves would have been cold.
Least there been a few sunny Spring days. I assume you are both Canadians. If not, I am hopeless detecting difference between the USA and Canadian accents.

I was at Tower Hill with my daughter in a child seat in the back seat eating a quarter of a sandwich. The window was a third open. An emu put its head thru the opening from my daughters had without touching her fingers. lol.

We're Canadian! And big nerds, so we're glad we could share that info with you! Thanks for watching!

A lot of Australia’s animals are nocturnal so you won’t see them easily in the daytime ( they’re in the shade)
Just be careful about snakes this time of year. Best to wear hiking boots if you like hiking ( if you step on one they’ll bite your feet/ankle). Generally if you make noise as you’re walking they will run away.
PS - I’m a 70 year old Aussie and have never been bitten in my travels. If you treat wildlife with respect they are fine.

@@oksananewton7675 depends where you are. I lived a short distance from Tower Hill and collecting wire wood in October often found them still asleep in logs.

Yeah girl, you nailed it with the Scone. Jam first, Cream, last and you ALWAYS start with the top of the Scone. Is it pronounced SconE or Scon? .... well it kind of depends on which side of the tracks you grew up lol. Me personally, no way in hell I would ever pronounce the letter e in Scone. Whereas I have a good British friend who INSISTS the letter e must be pronounced lol :)

It's a little silly to feel "right" about how to eat food, but thank you for validating me 😂

Good vlog, 👍koala bears arnt sleepy there kinda drunk n stoned from the eucalyptus leaves, tower hill is the biggest breading ground for the tiger snake in the southern hemisphere too, you’ll kinda only see the snakes when sunbathing, otherwise on hot days they’ll be in the shadie spots under cover, so when your trying to get outa the sun so are the snakes, the big old tree’s arnt red woods too🤦‍♀️
