Great video thanks. I've got the tiny Ultramax 12Ah and 10Ah batteries both can sustain over 18Ah without getting too warm unlike other knockoff brands. Batteries still going strong after 2 years of daily use.
Depends on the Amps required to start and run the heater. Assuming it requires 10 amps to start and depending on settings it may use 3 amps per hour. Look at the heaters specs, you may get away with a 50Ah lifepo4 battery but 100Ah would easily work.
@@DCGUY Thanks. I was hoping my CTEK MXS5 would work ok as it has 2 settings for a Lead Acid and AGM battery only. I see the Noco 10A specs states that it will charge Lithium Ion too, but the CTEK doesn't mention that, so guess I would need the UltraMax charger too.
The charger that comes with the ultramax is a 10 amp but i see they do have other chargers on their website. You could use the charger you have set for AGM which will still charge the battery it just lacks the lifepo4 charge algorithms. Out of all my chargers i still prefer the Victron 30A
Appreciate your efforts. I love a good battery review and teardown.
Thanks for watching! It's appreciated 😌

I am very happy with how my own battery has performed and this new offering with the prismatic cells will no doubt work well for many years to come.
Great vid very informative.
Q? I need a leasure battery to run a diesal heater approx 35hrs?

I missed the price nut looks ok! ❤
Retails at £449.09 & includes 10A charger but after 10% discount it drops to £404.18
Can the app not display the cell voltages?
Unfortunately the app does not show individual cell voltages.
@ I wonder if they will ever address that or whether they prefer to keep it under wraps like Ecoworthy
@squowse2 yes, would definitely be an improvement to let us see the cell data.
What did you use to charge the battery with?
I used a Noco 10A smart charger but I think these batteries include a charger, I just didn't get one with the battery they sent me.

@@DCGUY Thanks for the Victron tip. I certainly looks more useful with the Bluetooth/Phone App and LiFePo charging capabilities. 👍
Victron make good products 👌
