In the space of 10 years, the white British population in England has fallen from 87% to 79.8% (in 2011). It's not going to take much longer for it to fall to 50% and below. People shouldn't live in a country where they are the minority in their capital city and their second biggest city (Birmingham). You wouldn't see the population of Beijing, Shanghai or Tokyo or Seoul being less than 50% Chinese, Japanese or Korean, more likely 90-95% native born people, even in their capitals. Same goes for most countries, they would never allow their most important cities to be a maximum of 10% non native people, probably less than 5% in many cases.
Japan's population is 98% ethnically Japanese. This sense of shared heritage and culture makes them like one big family. It's also one of the safest and most developed countries in the world. The UK has failed.

Depends what you want to do. I don't want to bring race into question as I don't find it relevant, but don't expect London to be real Britain. It's overpopulated, fast-paced, expensive and everybody is rude and unfriendly. Britain has some amazing towns, villages and national parks where you can go walking and stop for lunch and a pint in a pub. That's proper British culture, not gawping at the Queen or riding some shitty, overcrowded red bus.

Zambia is multi-ethnic but most of the population are Bantu speaking Black Africans so there are close cultural similarities and a shared common heritage. Not that Zambia is the ideal society, far from it, but there's a clear relationship between ethnicity/race and empathy and it isn't just learned, it's a product of kin-selection as co-ethnics are generally more closely related than ethnic out-group members are (the equivalent of distant cousins, Scots tend to be as related as 6th cousins, etc)
