Im not british, but Churchill isnt 100% innocent. But at the same time. He was the U.K. prime minister during the worst times in their history to date. I knew a woman in Ecuador who got involved in all that stuff. We had the economy and military might to go to war with Russia, however our troops were too tired to continue. We probably could've just built a nuke or 2 to defeat Russia like we did with Japan. Had we defeated Russia the world wouldn't be where it is right now. Many of the Confederacy were figting for what they saw was their rights to live against what the North is telling them how to live, very few saw it as an issue on slave ownership. For the North many fought to preserve the Union or for their state nothing more.
