Fantastic, one that’s been on my list and I’ll have to check it out some time! Great thumbnail too with those Rex beasts - I don’t watch too many garden videos on TH-cam but had to make an exception for those on a Lincolnshire nursery!
Cheers George. It’s a great nursery and they are always trying to prop and source the more unusual plants that make our gardens look that bit more special. We wouldn’t have our gardens if it wasn’t for nurseries like these.
@@tikitropicals65 Thanks for the recommendation and yes, absolutely, without these specialists and passionate growers we’d be left with a sparse selection of poorly kept exotics at the bigger DIY type places and overpriced examples of only the basic choices at bigger garden centres wouldn’t we!
I would say that’s a Tamarillo near the end of the video great plants , not hardy though. I see Steve has added quite a few more unusual plants now since I was last there a few years ago
@@tikitropicals65 Tamarillo AKa Cyphomandra betacea easy to grow from seed and fast growing and nice large leaves . There are other varieties i would like to try if i can get the seed
Hi. It is about 40 minutes drive from me but I try to visit regularly as they often have new plants I’ve not seen before. The owners are really knowledgeable as well. I’m always learning something new. Cheers.
Hi. This I why I support nurseries like this as we wouldn’t be able to do our style of gardening if it wasn’t for these people providing the plants we love. Cheers
Wow! That’s one awesome nursery. I love nurseries especially ones like this. I’m so envious of you guys in UK with certain plants you seem to have in abundance I have not been able to get here in US. Especially schefferlas, I’ve looked high & low for a Tiawaniani and can’t find one even online. I’d love to have one. Thanks for much for taking time to share this with us
Hi. Yeah it’s a great nursery. I think we are lucky over here to have some great plant collectors like Crug Farm nursery who have collected seed from various parts of the world like many Scheffleras and then over the years they have become more available. Really only Taiwaniana is widely available as it now been through tissue culture the other Schefflera are less common.
Que vídeo maravilhoso ! Muito agradável ! Lindo ! E que lugar lindo ! Muito obrigado por esse vídeo !
Thank you

Wow... they must have wonderful staff!
The young buck in the sales shed is really good and is the face of the company. The old man. Well he’s a bit passed it 😂😂😂
For anyone reading this comment it’s a joke as Joe is part of the nursery team.
Great video and somewhere I haven't been but definitely will be going to a look around soon. 🌴😎
Cheers and it’s highly recommended.
@@tikitropicals65 just need some room now for new plants. 🤣
Wow wish I had this nursery nearby. 👌
Hi. It is nice to have a nursery like this near me. They are always propping unusual plants which I havent seen or been able to get before.
Thanks for sharing, another nursery to add to my must visit list.
Your welcome. I highly recommend it. Cheers
I wish there was a nursery like this in London. All of my local nurseries only sell cottage garden plants
Hi. This I why I support nurseries like this as we wouldn’t be able to do our style of gardening if it wasn’t for these people providing the plants we love. Cheers
Agreed. Flowers are what will sell. 6 weeks later, they’re gone! Leaves make the garden.

Thank you. I did try to get the owner it but he preferred not to be on film. He will answer any questions regarding plants though.
Cheers
Did you go Av plants? We went jersey last week such an amazing place, the guy was so helpful.
Hi. No I didn’t go to AV plants but I have been before. I love Jersey Cottage and the owners are great.
Do they do mail order? As I'd spend a fortune if they did.
Hi. I don’t think they do mail order as such but they do sell some plants through Etsy I believe.
