Love the refresh; saw a blue one fully loaded with roof rack bars and found it looking quite sharp, nearly Range Rover-like in its exterior aesthetics and stance. Kia’s done such an incredible job on that model.
Every car company at some point and time has struggled and made some junk. At one time Lexus was a unknown struggling brand for years. But look at it now, after given time. Kia and Hyundia have come a long way. Either they will or they won't be better than what they were. Time will tell. Right now though, they have significantly improved, hopefully they will continue. Look at Ram vehicle's, TRX vs Raptor, lexsus vs Cadillac.
The Honda is a generation newer than the Kia and a copy at that. We'll see what this Kia looks like in the next generation. But the kias interior is still better.
Just don't ride in the back seat. I sat in the back recently over a moderately bumpy road. Think I would have been more comfortable in a Jeep CJ second row. I felt every bump.
Good call Stephen.. I agree and I think most people agree.. Thats probably why the Kia out sells the Hyundai. I think they should have just went ahead and made the Hyundai a traditional shifter like the Kia.
Lol, they also made 18mpg stingers. I don't know why people hate having options 😂. EV GT does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, when was that performance affordable on stock cars?
@@elliottbutts153 SUVs use more gas, handle poorer than minivans, have less seating space, and are often worse at carrying things than station wagons, and cause deadlier accidents due to the often useless off-road hardware, but the car companies are happy to advertise them and create good sales. Part of people's purchasing decisions depend on the marketing, it's not all personal choice, and they don't offer all the options in America such as station wagon versions while other countries get them.
As a automotive technician KIA and Hyundai are the bic lighters of the automobile industry they still make garbage engines and they will never be as good as a Toyota and Honda will reliability, quality and strong engine design Scott Kilmer would agree with me.
A sub 7 second launch defies physics!
My friend has 19 or 20 model love the heated seats and cross stitching for seats it's quick but not fast fast I love the curved display

I love it. The perfect daily driver and family hauler
3:18 No Corinthian leather? 4:00 0 to 60 is faster than a 1989 Mustang GT automatic.
half inch higher and simulated skid plates.....forggetaboutit'
Dumbest version of it but it sells 😂

Interior and exterior it sets the bar. Still drives like a barge. Premium looks with Minivan handling.
Suggestion: 3.8 V6 for the Hyundai Santa Cruz
I like the styling of the new Honda Pilot more.

Could it soldier on alongside the EV9, the Telluride's electric counterpart?

Prefer Kia shifter than Hyundai push button

The industry is still trying to catch up to the Palisade/Telluride, even three years later.
Yes, I'll trade a 6.2 Suburban for a Kia....🥴
@@ljmorris6496 This is way cheaper than a Suburban, this is extremely good for the price point.
@@ljmorris6496 apples to oranges comparison. Not competing in the same class and the Suburban is like $30k more expensive when comparably equipped.
@@mattwolf7698 You are clueless, you have no issue this company has been having the last 10 years?? OPEN YOUR EYES
On what world, Mars??? lmao
"Tell you ride" Yes we can Telluriding in a Kia.
Like "we are living in the age of sport" Sportage.
Saving my $ for a model called "Sinatra".
20MPG is not "reasonable" it is DREADFUL. IT'S 2023
It's good compared to my 2006 European sedan 😅
I prefer the pre-facelift model. This just looks rushed and dismissive. And those wheels are hideous.
The amber headlights were so cool. I hated them at first, but the grew on me. Kia should’ve kept some form of them!!
Yes those ember lights were the unique and they just when with the boring ones
You don't walk away from a kia/Hyundai.... you run...fast....very fast
No. I'm running towards them.
Why?
@sklounst9647 well I can vouch for hyundai cars-maybe not Kia per se, but I like my Santa Fe Phev, thank you very much.
@@MaGiKRat420 Yeah if you an D/A and fall for this junk, have fun with your unreliable korean car

It's pretty dumb to pay for x line and x pro packages on these. Just get prestige.
Telluride? Telluwhat!
@Brian Lee had a 2004 hyundai tiburon, nice looking car.
The new Mazda CX 90 has made this expendable.
Trying so hard to push EVs these days yet still making these big 20 mpg suvs, goofy
Because most people would rather have the 20 mpg suv. Despite what the media and manufacturers chose to shove down your throat.

Extra off-road capability for the 40 something mom's to traverse across the soccer field gravel lot.
more JUNKK from kOrEa
Pretty much a pointless package as none of these will ever be taken off road

Another model with fire problems..
You should make the videos more like you are reviewing the vehicle, and not like you are a news reader on CNN.
The Koreans have taken the US small car market from the Japanese and now they are taking the US SUV market from the Americans.

Always copying style from other brands, but still cheap under the skin.
