    I think this model supports sensorless vector drive, did you enable that?

      I did have one guy buy it to try on his OG table but he didn't let me know how it worked.

    why do you need the fuses if the vfd has overcurrent protection

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The overcurrent protection protects the motor not the vfd. Also if you have a dead short between two of your motor legs take out the vfd. If you lose one leg of your input power there's a chance the second leg will pull too much current and blow the fuse once again saving your vfd from certain death.

    Any videos on autotuning with this drive?

      I just recently learned how to do that and since forgot. I did it but didn't make a video. sorry. I'll have to relearn and make a video about it someday.

    Be HONEST is the worth buying? Is it reliable? I have a bad daddy industrial Saylor Beall air compresson that is 5hp 3 phase and to buy this inverter it cost $750.00 or i could just buy a baldor single phase motor for $586.00. If this works well snd is reliable i would rather buy it and stay 3 phase but on the other hand if its going to be a pain in the ass then i am torn to just go single phase and be done with it. Homes need to start being built with 3 phase if needed and not be some all big thing to just have it

      Invertek drives are sold world wide. They are high quality drives. I have drives for 5hp 3phase motors on the website. becksarmory.com I got the one in this video for free when I became a dealer. Since then I have purchased two of them with my own money to power my knee mill, and one for a future build. I've put my money were my mouth is. I could have gotten other VFD's cheaper but I don't like to buy junk. :) If I didn't trust it I would not have purchased them with my own money for my personal projects.

      @@AdamOutlaw87 the internal break just helps you stop the motor faster. There is no reason to do that with an air compressor.

    Can the input be 120v ?

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not 100% sure. If you did feed it 120v I would de-rate the output by 50%. Don't use it for more than a 1hp motor in that case.

    Hi, my drive suddenly didn't function anymore, so i've reset to factory settings and reconfigured all parameters. But...for F12 ( settings keypad 7:15 in the movie ) i can't change the digit ( is on "0" now ) When I press up or down the "0" remains and the first digit of the screen shows additional an "L" as long i push the up or down button....What can be the cause of that? Thx

      hmm I'm not sure what would cause that. The arrow buttons worked on all the other settings?

      Try to remove the cable from terminal 1 and program it. Turn it off, add it back and turn it on again

    What fuses are you using for this setup?

    • @BecksArmory
      @BecksArmory  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using what they recommended in the owner's manual. I checked this notification on my phone I'm afraid I will forget to double-check when I get home so I'm going to do my best to answer from memory. I'm pretty sure a 2 horsepower version requires 16 1/2 amps per leg. My setup is a 3 horsepower and I don't remember the exact amperage. The owner's manual has a table that tells you how many amps based on which model you have
