@Snagprophet I'm aware ive known her for several years ..hence why I said lives there she's the biggest in regards to followers over all platforms but not the only one who lives there that is also a content creator as stated above
The funny thing is that the North Pole is not even close to the coldest place on Earth. It's actually the South Pole or Antarctica, right on the opposite side of the globe. And even some towns in continental Russia get a lot colder than the Artic Circle. That's how climate works on our planet.

If only Simon had watched some of the stuff a Polar bear does to things it hunts, he might not have jumped out so quickly at the edge of town...lol. Pure Simon though walking around the town literally chatting up everyone, and the lovely people all being very kind in return. This is how you know people and travel make memories.
I was at Svalbard a few years ago, you should visit the ice caves, go on a boat ride to see whales, and perhaps visit Pyramiden, rent a guide ant go look for polar bears.

I love the videos of your trips to areas around the Arctic Circle; I guess I like the idea of the remoteness about those trips....Curious have you ever been to Whittier, Alaska? I saw a little documentary or TH-cam clip of that place and I think that is right up your alley.
So it's dark 24/7 unless you're in the town, it's minus 20 degrees Celsius and if you go in to the dark there are huge creatures that will hunt you and eat you.
Polar bears have been known to wander freely but hardly ever venture into town its not like theyre joining in with the residents ...there is a boundary where its kinda their territory..and residents do not enter ....children are still left outside to nap its still considered safe its just their way of life....residents do not have a shoot to kill licence they can fire a warning shot if their lives are in danger and wait for authorities to come assist in moving the bears on ..
