Love that you have Little Big Adventure 2 as the thumbnail, main reason I clicked the video honestly. Countless hours of my 4 and 5 year old time were spent uselessly trying to get anywhere in the game until I finally got older and could make any headway.
I always felt bad for Farmer Ted for always losing and being in last place. When I finally worked up the top of the rankings, maxed out my vehicle upgrades and beat Duke Nukem I went back and raced the lower tier races again that Farmer Ted competed in, destroyed the other vehicles and allowed him to win so that his ranking could improve. 😂😂
Damn ... X-COM TFTD was really creeping me out back in the day. Still loved playing it. The soundtrack was terrific. And the screams of civilians in the background. MEMORIES.
X-COM was terribly scary and dark, especially the chryssalids that turned your soldiers into zombies, but the game literally riveted to itself with its atmospheric. I really enjoyed reading new research and learning something about aliens and weapons. In the second part, the music and the atmosphere are even more viscous and oppressive because the action takes place in the ocean)
And now without the hassle that we had to go through in the 90s to get them running. I think most of those who talk about nostalgia or the "Golden Age" of PC gaming tend to forget that part. Or they never had to deal with it.

@@JudgeDeadd Okay seriously this was pretty much the LAST remaining mystery of its kind from my childhood. THAT’S IT! My dude thank you very much. I appreciate you so, so much.
I'm looking for an old DOS game i had in some floopy disks that were that kind of point click game or arrow moving. The plot was something about a man that had a time-travel bike-like vehicle and you would use it to travel from some eras. I remember he in a dinossaur era on the demo version. If anyone remember this game, tell me please.
I've been trying to remember a game I played in this generation. I was born in 88 so it would have been between 95 and 2000 and probably a few years old. It was a top down battle simulator with really rough pixelated units. I remember something like elves and dwarves. The most striking detail was a special ability called "boomerang" and it sent a boomerang around the unit about 3 times. Archers could spin in a circle to shoot arrows in all directions. The idea was you controlled one unit at a time during a big battle and did the best using the most powerful units. Does this sound like anything you remember seeing? Thanks if you see this!
Some of these games are super obscure. How about more popular ones? Who remembers these: Jazz Jackrabbit One Must Fall: 2097 Jetpack Zoombinis Chip's Challenge NASCAR Stunts And more that I can remember but don't remember the names of. The game was kind of humorous. I don't really remember anything else about it. The command deck of the spaceship was sort of the hub where you'd start all of the minigames. If by chance you'd have any knowledge of this game I'd be super grateful! Either way thank you.
Geekwad Games of the Galaxy?
@@JudgeDeadd Okay seriously this was pretty much the LAST remaining mystery of its kind from my childhood. THAT’S IT! My dude thank you very much. I appreciate you so, so much.
god I loved playing Z back then. Totally sucked at it but I loved it. And KKND... forgot about that, really liked it
I'm looking for an old DOS game i had in some floopy disks that were that kind of point click game or arrow moving. The plot was something about a man that had a time-travel bike-like vehicle and you would use it to travel from some eras. I remember he in a dinossaur era on the demo version. If anyone remember this game, tell me please.
omg my hole life has passed through those video game😮
I've been trying to remember a game I played in this generation. I was born in 88 so it would have been between 95 and 2000 and probably a few years old. It was a top down battle simulator with really rough pixelated units. I remember something like elves and dwarves. The most striking detail was a special ability called "boomerang" and it sent a boomerang around the unit about 3 times. Archers could spin in a circle to shoot arrows in all directions. The idea was you controlled one unit at a time during a big battle and did the best using the most powerful units. Does this sound like anything you remember seeing? Thanks if you see this!
Unfortunately, I don’t know such a game, but maybe one of the subscribers will remember and write the name
Hi dude) I made a new video and added more games. I think you will be interested to see it :)

Is that AdLib tunes on Warcraft right off the bat? I've never heard that music and I've played through both campaigns a couple of years ago.
For me is what not the games i found challenging, getting the sound to work in DOS was the real challenge - sound blaster 16 anyone!!!
Some of these games are super obscure. How about more popular ones? Who remembers these:
Jazz Jackrabbit
One Must Fall: 2097
Jetpack
Zoombinis
Chip's Challenge
NASCAR
Stunts
And more that I can remember but don't remember the names of. There are even more popular ones out there (Monkey Island). I was happy to see Full Throttle, Seek and Destroy and Transport Tycoon show up on the list though.
I have a second video on games. There are also a lot of cool games - th-cam.com/video/fugj8JLQEDU/w-d-xo.html. There is Jazz Jackrabbit and One Must Fall: 2097. Now I am preparing the 3rd video, there will also be a lot of cool games
not sure if there have ever been a better transport tycoon.
OpenTTD is arguably better, as it fixes some of the annoying things about the original games. The AI is still terrible though lol. But I grew up playing the original Transport Tycoon. Longest-running game I've ever played.
I wish these games were in chronological order.
Ignition
Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn, KKND and Ignition my Childhood as 5 years old boy
Funny how i grep up in this era and i never messed with Dos, i wouldn't even know where to start, lol,i didn't get involved with computers till probably 99-00 but i never messed with floppy discs.
Here’s some you missed:
Tomb Raider
Quake
Descent 1+2
System Shock
Blood
Rise of the Triad
Duke Nukem 1
Epic Pinball
Jazz Jackrabbit
Test Drive 3: The Passion
Tyrian 2000
Nyet 3: Revenge of the Mutant Stones
Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto 2 (I think?)
Rick Dangerous 1+2
Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame
Quarantine
Castle Wolfenstein
Beyond Castle Wolfenstein
Castle Wolfenstein, Beyond Castle Wolfenstein were released in 1981 and 1984. Grand Theft Auto 2 was not released on Dos. Duke Nukem 1 is about the same as Duke Nukem 2. Some of the games from your list are in my video 2
@@krakenatemyboss Duke Nukem 1 isn’t exactly the same as Duke Nukem 2, I didn’t know when the 2D Wolfenstein games came out, forgot that GTA 2 was Windows only and I didn’t notice the dates in the title. Thanks for letting me know some of them were in another video though. I’ll check it out.
I never could play Descent. The 3-D controls made me get dizzy and I'd come close to barfing after only a few minutes.
@@TehButterflyEffect that’s understandable, especially with the Doom style graphics and low resolution when playing on DOS. System Shock’s cyberspace is similar, plus the transparent tron themed graphics make it hard to navigate in certain rooms
LOL at that Battle Arena Toshinden clip @7:22. Repeated bitch slaps!
The good old days
Amazing compilation! Another yputuber doing this again! ;)
Normality used to creep me out as a kid
Yeah Normality looks pretty creepy)
Fantasy General war episch 🙂
6:52 Something tells me "Electro Body" couldn't get the rights to use the Robocop name lmao
