My dream truck since the day they came out when I was in high school….if I could have one it would be this color but the extended cab. Don’t care if the blue/white decals tho….not my taste. But I have a 14 F250 with the 6.2. I call it the over weight Raptor lol

Same. I remember drooling at everybody driving these new at the sand dunes. Never thought I would have an opportunity to own one but I finally went for it. Been daily driving a 95 7.3 powerstroke for a couple years now and just purchased an ext cab 14 raptor with 100k miles. It was sort of an impulse purchase but probably the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Bucket list truck for sure.

With a rough estimate on 20% drive train loss that’s 650/605 roughly at the crank

I thought it would make at least 600 rear wheel with all those modification upgrades on a big V8 but I'm use to V8 Mustangs especially the 5.0 Coyote GT engine.

Yah big tire Raptors are not going to lay down Mustang numbers with similar mods. They have much greater drivetrain loss plus the big tires lower numbers on the dyno

mustang isn’t trying to spin close to 200lbs of wheel/tire either.

One thing gotta keep in mind, is the RPM limiter and power band. The 6.2 has lower redline but massive low end torque compare to a mustang 5.0 coyote. It’s a truck that weighs almost 3 ton so it needs all that torque.
I have a 2014 raptor, going on an incline, it would stay in gear and still have room to pick up speed but my f150 5.0 would have to downshift, get up in the rpms just to maintain speed.
