Idk if People are thinking like me but i think currently zoroark is not bad but just struggling way to much in the current meta and to be fair if timi wanna make him better they souldn’t buff him but nerf things like comfey zacian urshifu and other annoying meta mon (and honestly he isn’t the only one)
I agree. When i do well with him i do really well… until zacian comes along

urshifu doesn't need nerf, your main needs nerf (except urshifu).
One thing you didn’t mention is when you have your final feint attack attack ready to use, if you use shadow claw and miss, it resets the timer for the final attack so you can keep it up longer
The fact that you put it in a easy way to do makes it simpler to understand on how does this moveset plays, and the way that you also mentions other combos for different scenario makes it feel more natural than forced, a true coach👏💯
I am an extreme speed bone rush Lucario main,but I struggled a lot when I was using feint attack zoroark
So I really needed this guide
For me i can play it easily but E speed is difficult for me
Go to setting, controls, Move aim follows movement and turn it off, move snaps at nearby target on. And now your Zoroark will be easier to control
With the crazy amount of cc in the game, all speedsters should have the ability to use their unite under cc, a cc cleanse and/or gain 1 second of unstoppable.
There are barely any differences between attackers, defenders, all rounders, and speedsters now. Speedsters are suppose to have good mobility and high burst damage, but all the other roles have those too and with HIGHER survivability.
Except Gengar.
It's also the fact that Defense / sp def does very little. Now they even introduced slick spoon.
If defenders had more abilities that were buffed by their Defense that would benefit them a lot. Higher scaling would be warranted though.
You have to build ATK/SP. ATK on each character to buff 90% of their abilities in terms of damage and utility. Shields?? based off of dmg stats. Healing?? Dmg stats. EXCEPT Trevanant.
So i build Weakness policy / focus band and Buddy Barrier so i'll have a good mix of ATK, HP, and sustain since his tackle is actually based off of Max HP.
Probably not, but there should be an item that makes you unstoppable for 3 seconds of your choosing. Stun would be useless if you can ult in it. Atleast predicting when you want to be unstoppable would make it a bit fun. Kinda like bkb in dota
Great guide. Something I didn’t see mentioned though is if you have your final slash ready and still have your cut or shadow claw up (i.e Feint attack>shadow claw>feint attack>feint attack/you only use feint attack) using claw or cut during the final slash countdown resets the timer for your final slash.
The real ones know about this little mechanic
I want Zoroark to be unstoppable(immune to stuns) when using night slash as night slash is so hard to use

Less stuns in general would be this guys biggest buff
Outside of giving him hindrance resistance while feint attack but LETS NOT GO THERE
Also I would put his illusion button on smth else than L Stick because that’s not consistent when you want to dodge
I don't think illusion dodging was an intended feature since it doesn't make much sense
@@Sharde-xe1sn it's definitely on purpose to give it some more use and depth
Btw, it also cleanses some status effects like slows, burn, and tether like moves (mime and trev)
(Though the tether canceling might be because of the invincibility frames)

@@jamesperrott1 I still think it was only for cleansing DOTs so that the illusion wouldn't instantly fade, I think dodging moves was an oversight since it's got such a precise timing

Dude I master dodrio completely but this new tanky meta making me frustrated as my dodrio is becoming useless.... This f**"ing pokemon unite not nerfing that dog , I mean seriously!!! That dog basic attack stuns, sacred sword stuns and that agility cooldown is also too low, literally that dog chase me from our 3rd base to main base against the flux using agility 💀💀

I personally use Energy Amplifier x Weakness Policy x Attack Weight. I personally like this build for more of an assassinator in Team fights or Rayquaza. His unite move is so giant and it's so convenient for a losing game.
illusion is also a cleanse! since u turn in instead it gets rid of statuses, slows and attacks that stick to u like espeon future sight, although weirdly not eldegoss pollen puff (maybe cuz it can exist without u as well? idk)

I was practicing it on ranked and I was pressing too fast that my feint attack was getting everytime now I know the reason and it helped me to improve my zoroark in rank games

When you transform to rayquaza Your hit box is way smaller than the stretched out massive rayquaza it can actually make people miss moves
Also spinning rayquaza a clear insane tactic to confuse enemies so much that they lose focus lmao
6k more til i get my green badge. been playing a lot of feint attack zoro on ranked. super satisfying and the last hit does so much damage esp to attackers & all rounders

I do wanna say while cut doesn't have a stun it does help you get faint attack out and recover without having to return to base or retreat as often especially with feint attack reseting it

i'm more confident with cut instead of shadow claw
i have more durability with cut because mostly i was targeted instead of tank even if im the last one to engage
I honestly kinda needed this. I only know how to use Night Slash.
This was way easier to intuitively grasp versus night Slash, I'm still trying to figure out what I do wrong whenever I use night Slash and it just ends. I've noticed the more I use the more I get used to it but feint attack also feels easier to use in the current cc meta... idk

What do you think about building Zoroak as a Bruiser? A bit like an all rounder. Since she has high base damage, I think building her a bit tanky could be interesting.
Feint attack resets your first ability. Cut heals you, And the other skill has CC, I'm thinking it might be a fun off meta build. Thoughts?

Is there a playstyle or tips for using Night Slash? Currently trying to use it with cut so any advice would be appreciated 🙂
Float Stone is valuable with the extra HP from the cookie, extra speed helps when running away to heal and when repositioning
Completely unnecessary you have so much mobility with both abilities you can practically always run away already
Zoroark's feint attack feels similar to Zeraora's Volt Switch except way better.
ngl I griefed as a Zeraora main for a couple seasons after the nerfs, so maybe I just see Zera things everywhere.

I really want cut to be viable cause having constant healing is great but cut needs to do more damage than shadow claw to have any shot at viability
Just healing simply doesn’t compete with the stuns for the exact same damage
feint attack is pretty fun to play when you learn it

Feint attack and shadow claw was too hard for me
The lock in settings is good for this build
Cut surprisingly has such a bigger range than is indicated, as the slash visual effect extends the range, so you can hit persons outside the dash range indicator

Zoroark does not have a good late game, meanwhile I wiped out penta in Rayquaza pit, I am still surprised how did that happen, and it was a ranked game, maybe it was just my day, and tbh all of them where stupid enough to be in a crowd together, I unite, and get my entire combo off them with full heal+illusion

As a Zoroark main I highly recommend- unless you just get screwed over by team comp it's a great soloq mon

Fun Fact : If you time illusion correctly it is possible to cancel the ongoing wild charge of Zeraora. If not you are doomed.

I dont like stacking items and Zoroark doesnt have a good damage ups outside of them in this build. But then i thought that Night Slash combo have basic attacks, which makes crit viable. Why nobody talk about this move? I mean it stun opponents less, but have arguably more mobility and damage. And it seems better in team fights (you will probably die fast anyway, but extra mobility may help to escape). What changed since Zoroarks release and your first guide on him?

I think it's because Night Slash is even more easy to shut down with CC (hindrances), and is also harder to learn. And it's probably easier to escape a team fight with Feint Attack imo. If Full Heal was buffed, or Zoroark was given immunity to hindrances in his kit (maybe his unite?) then Night Slash would definitely be more rewarding to learn. Maybe a bit too strong even.
If you’re not using attack weight you’re throwing
And night slash is far too unreliable and awkward to be better. Not to mention every time an enemy goes into a bush it completely messes you up and your combo often ends cause you’re using auto attacks

I feel like its in a situation like azumarill, really strong as mon but it just gets outclassed by alternatives. Example, azumarill was considered the god of 1v1s, but with the current meta it can barely 1v1 things, making it just powercrept; scizor is really tanky and good self sustain, but whats the point if it gets demolished by other popular all rounders/crowd control?
Do somebody know if its still good guide ? Or too many things changed already ?

nah the damage needs a small nerf that’s all
Espeon is only insane with a really strong frontliner

Espeon needs a cooldown increase on psyshock,
Psyshock stuns and does incredible amount of damage,that move should have a higher cooldown so you get punished if you miss a move
Night slash sucks
Somehow I got a match that I got 9 kills, got every regi
Then enemy FF at ray
And I ended on 24k dmg xD
