Hey man I’ve been watching a ton of your vids on modding your c class, I have a 2018 c class and wanted to spruce it up and was wondering what mods from dmp or whoever you recommend and don’t recommend. I was very interested in the digital cluster and the ambient lighting but saw a recent video saying they’re not there yet. Lmk if you have any suggestions man thank you!
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything from dmp. I’ve been partnering with them for 6 years and they are a good group of guys. They provide technical support and offer warranties on their products. Digital cluster is still in the works. I just tested another software update from them. Still have some more work to do. So hang tight there. The ambient kit they have now is badass. Way better than mine from years ago. It also comes with a dongle to plug into your OBD port to program your center screen to control the lights. No more trying to figure out the button combination on the steering wheel to change the colors and brightness. And it’s a much better and brighter version than mine. I’m gonna do a video within 2 weeks on how to use that dongle to control the ambient lights since I have the dongle now and I have the new main wiring harness with updated control box.
hey flex, 6am over here and still glued to that w204 content years later. I got 1 juicy question tho. Would you recommend turbo muffler delete, gfb dv+, or gfb vta for my 2nd mod (1st is dinantronics sport tune)? I stay in urban cali so not a lot of opportunities to zoom out here but I would still like to maintain boost and speed my shifts up.
I would go turbo muffler and DV+ (not VTA). And if your tune doesn’t also tune the pedal response, I would highly recommend you look into a pedal tune (from tornado tuning or another company). It will completely change the feel of the car. One mod that you can immediately feel a massive improvement.
I love the downpipe I got from tornado tuning, I was wondering if you think the camshaft magnets they have to offer are a good idea to put into the w205 c300 :D thanks!
@@TheFlexxGarage I've been non-stop watching your videos for a lot of my w205 knowledge in the past 4 months along with the mbenz forum of course, pls dont forget about the c300 😅 I've been in talks with Narry from TTS over text he's a great guy! Would love to see a dyno sheet some day of how much power you're making on the m274 being tuned for all of your performance mods from TTS and whatnot!
hi @TheFlexxGarage i have a 2017 w205 c220 d and i was wondering if it is possible to change the button lights ,(the cars is basically the same as yours except the engine), mine are yellow and i want to change them white.
Don’t know. There’s no diesel Mercedes cars in the US. I don’t know your engine and what can be done to it. You can always message tornado tuning who sells the blow off valve. They can tell you in 2 seconds.
Yeah I have is it’s a total waste of money. Lol. It’s so expensive, it requires so much skill to put on and do body work. Totally waste of time and labor and money just to “look” like a w206. Lol. I rather buy a Pontiac fiero and convert it to a lambo.
So far how have the heads and pistons held up with what you’ve put on ? Been debating going mod for mod with your build just don’t wanna blow a piston as soon as I’m done
It’s fine. My mods aren’t enough to put stress on the motor internals or heads. You would need to run crazy aggressive tunes or upgrade the turbo to cause stress on the motor.
Hey Flexx, I have a quick question! The other day I was washing my car and stumbled upon a dead frog in my tail light. Is it possible to take apart the light assembly without the risk of damaging anything? Really trying to avoid having to purchase a new one. Thanks!
i would recommend taking the tailight out from the car and seeing where the frog got in from the first place. im surprised that your tail light doesnt have condensation if it doesnt have a crack or hole in it, in which the frog wouldve entered from. nevertheless, worst comes to worst you can always try using the bake method, where you put the tail light in the oven to melt the rubber seal so you can take the plastic cover off, giving you full access to the inside. hope this helps!
Where is filter? This is without air filter😂

Great video Flexx 🙏🏿. It sounds amazing!!
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Just did brought the car, your video are really dope.. cant wait to upgrade all that under your recommendation.. likewise, sound aggreesive.
Remember to have fun! Enjoy the process. Don’t rush with the mods or installs.
Nice video flexx❤
I have a question, do you know where I can purchase the fog lights for them?(w205 c300)
Awesomeness 👌
Does it require a special filter
Watch the beginning on the video. I show the filter thats included.
Any new videos on the CLA 250 coming anytime soon?..??
It’s coming. I shot tons of footage but just haven’t had the chance to edit them.

Hey flexx i got a c300 2009 can you make a vid about how to wire led light strips for headlights

I’ve heard really good things from them. I just don’t have the time to put those on my car since I’ve been busy with the new cla project car.

Hey bro I have a w205 220D can’t the same blow valve you have on your c300 works?

Hi flexx, does ur car mpg increase or decrease after the installation?
Nothing changed. Except I drive the car harder to hear more intake sound.

I was looking to buy a 2015 C300, as a first car, do you think it's worth it or no?
Yes bro
2015 had wrist pin issues which cracked pistons. Make sure it has been fixed before you buy.
@@ashleyabrego9037yup going through that now 🥲 sounds like crap but thank god for extended warranty
