I have to apologize, at first I couldn't understand all the possibilities of this wonderful device. And today I have included it in my mastering process and it is a success.I would like to share it with you with pleasure!
Interesting at 11:06 AFTER the chords example reminded me of the key of Holding Back the Years by Simply Red and made me realize part of that hit’s sound was analog harmonic saturation.
The plugin works. I am a huge fan of iZotope. That being said, those "before" rock mixes suck, and you should fix the mixes (like with Neutron instances), and then master with Ozone.
@@iZotopeOfficial That's quite a trick. You're going to start releasing products but NOT including them in the monthly subscription? So we have to buy AND subscribe? Pretty sketchy.
It's not clear for what reason they didn't add AutoGain .Maybe in the next update? And we'll have to pay extra:) Also it is not clear why not make them like EQ-4, i.e. link them on each track. The plugin is a good one.
''rock mix'' and proceedes to play metal and totaly different mix that goes from dry to wet just with a saturation plugin...interesting...same with ''static'' vs plasma saturator...one has hpf/lpf filter the other has nothing...what a way to compare things...by leaving first as it is and make the other sound better just to ''prove a point'''...jesus christ izotope ur better than that what happened to yall
This video fails dismally cos..... a) you can't verbally explain what saturation is (how it sounds) and b) you can't demonstrate it due to severe limitations of TH-cam. The before and after clips sound identical on TH-cam, So I've still no idea how saturation might improve anything .... so I ain't gonna buy Plasma
Never talk between the "before and after" prove. Nrfer!. Unless you know you'll not convince anyone about you're saying when the hear the "before and after" in sequence.
I try this plugin, just for 2 minutes.
and not kidding, it does sound really good.
god bless izotope.
how heavy on cpu?
@@mugenDelta not heavy, very light weight
@@aangovan thanks!
Vocals sound so much warmer with plasma. Izotope catalyst line is becoming so good!

This is really good!
This plugin is a gamechanger for me
My demos sound solid after using this plugin on the Mixbuss.🔥❤
Diana is very happy about Plasma 😁
I love the fact that you used different music genres to attract as much of your audience as possible.
0:59 much more bass notes perceived when Plasma is on, even on small Bluetooth headphones.
Just bought it. It'll be fun to experiment with...
Let us know what you think!

Yep!
A similar product is in neutron 4
How do I use Plasma if I have the monthly subscription?
Hi! Plasma is currently not part of a subscription. You can get it separately here: bit.ly/3TugkL7

does it do any oversampling because i couldn't spot a setting for it?
Hi! Plasma doesn't apply oversampling due to its unique design, which minimizes issues with aliasing.
but I have izotope exciter..
Did you even understand the video
@@Joseph_763 did you even understand my comment
@@Joseph_763 sidechain whatever saturation you have on a bus track and that's this plugin more or less..

"Emma too late for love"🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
MAdam, Kraftur does the same thing and the VST is very light eating away less CPU
Exiter sounds like it’s causing phase issues while Plasma sounds like a fix to the same
Best Saturator is black box and Saturn 2 there is not any comparison between any of them

Fix trash 2

There's a 10 day demo, if you're really curious.
I got it tge other day and it brings thickness to the sound
Here's a link to a free trial if you want to try it out: bit.ly/3TugkL7
