My vocal coach was an opera singer, but I told him he'd be SO great at musical theater. So he switched up careers. I wonder if these women did the same. They are fantastic. The Flower Duet is one of the most beautiful duets in all opera. And they did it perfectly. They are of course, SO unexpected in this audition.
You need a mezzo and a soprano for the harmonics of the flower duet to work perfectly and I think both ladies here are mezzos. Despite that, i enjoy their singing and their attitude
