Yeah man! The Highland is just excellent. If you haven't, check the first episode - I have my favorite - Laphroaig 10 yr. Or just take my word for it! :) Anyhow. It's wonderful, and I bet you'll dig it. Prelude 2 sure is great. Thanks for coming around - I do appreciate you! For sure!
Realized I only partially answered your question - As far as Bourbons - you can't go wrong with Maker's Mark, but I think Knob Creek is better to my taste. Woodinvile is one of my top. Even more affordable: TinCup - nice! Larceny!!!! $22 at Rite Aid! Winner of many comps and super good. Enjoy. I've taken a taste towards Scotch in the last 2 years - so I go there first, usually :)
@@StringsandSpirits Thanks for the reply. I've been drinking single malts longer than bourbon. Favorite single malt to date is Macallan 12 yr. --a little pricey but worth it. My go to bourbon is Buffalo Trace, which straddles the line between cheap bourbons and expensive fancy ones. Not familiar with Woodinville have to look into that. Have had Makers Mark and Knob Creek. Both good bourbons for the price.
Never had the Highland Park 12, have to try it sometime. Curious about what bourbons you like. Prelude 2 is a nice piece.
