Also, things I missed: - Jeff Shop closes and El Goblino will hide behind a box when Rush attacks - Rush can now spawn during Seek's Crescendo and the Seek Eyes won't make the Lights flicker anymore - You can use the Crucifix on Dread - Rush Hour and Worst Time Ever no longer make Entities spawn randomly - Movement during the Seek Chase is less slippery - Flashlights that you buy from Jeff's shop don't have full durability anymore - The Painting on Door 60 now has a Moon and Modifier Icon (LORE?!) - New visual Indicatiors for low durability on an Item, Crouching, Speed Buffs, etc. - Super Hard Mode is gone but will be added back soon
My thoughts on the video, overall nice, but here's my problems: things felt really disorganized, and I'm not a fan of the vine booms within every transition. I also felt like there was some unnecessary footage that you could've left out. For every showcase you could leave a small transparent title / icon at the top to keep people knowing what its about. Lastly but not the best advice, Video felt like it could've been a bit quicker. I'm not a fan of slow pacing, I'm sure other people don't mind anyway. edit: just now noticed you Randomly capitlize Some of your Words. please Don't do that, it's Horrifying
Here’s a secret change you missed: If rush spawns close enough to Jeff’s shop, it will actually close and El Goblino will hide. It’s no longer a fan animation, it’s canon.
Im not gonna lie, dread needs to be a more present entity to catch people who are in solo and just wait for no reason; it gives off a better feeling that something will get you and that time IS ticking.
My dumb self thought all of those normal doors are vacuum, that's why I was barely getting any levers and had to depend on the rooms to have one. I thought backdoors is more of a rng version of doors.
@@tobiasgamer06 They kinda need to nerf out lookman because you easily miss a lever just trying to avoid him(or maybe keep him because it's not that hard to avoid it). And maybe make it so that you are guaranteed to get lever after a door if past 10 doors didn't have any levers at all.
A change you missed: with the achievment "Survival the Jeff the Killer" (The achievment for beating super hard mode), you would get access to a modifier that recreates Super Hard mode. Now, the modifier is gone and I hate my life :(
I've seen that LSplash said the reason it's not back right now is because they updated room generation for the hotel. Since Super Hard Mode still runs on an older generator (one older than the update before The Hunt update), they need to update it before it can be rereleased. It's coming back though!
@@SlushieAfton Back when it was still an option, at the very bottom of the modifiers list, there was an extra modifier that was called "SUPER HARD MODE". You won't see it now, but once they bring it back, look there and you could probably find it. I don't think you needed the badge to play it, though, so if you didn't get it, you should still be fine. Bear in mind that you won't be rewarded the badge as it was exclusive to when the event was actually running (April 2023)

I’m pretty sure the “She” the Backdoor’s light refers to is Guiding Light, who allegedly named the entities for players. (Yes she does say it’s what the PLAYERS call but some entities she just names herself.)

Some entities she doesn't just call there names themselves the player named all the hotel entities stated officially by redibles I just found the tweet date it's the 18th december 2022 redibles said that all entities names are given by the player and it is hinted by some deaths messages.
I know everyone doesn't care, but I took the potion from the backdoors, then finished the thing, it sent me to the normal game and then I speedran it, and just as I was about to put it in the rift, I drank it. 💀
I had a skeleton key in my rift, so it was there when I reached Room 0. Not yet knowing the value of the big potion, I decided to see if I could swap it with the key. Thus I discovered the secret use before I found out about the normal use. :P
Pro tip for people struggling with doors hunt. #1: just like hardmode, when you enter a room, quickly look around the area and look down, or the shadow will hurt you #2: there are only 3 entities, (blitz: just like a fusion of rush and ambush, mostly sound que and sometimes lights), (shadow: looking at it deals damage), (haste: its just like getting a time over in a sonic game) (the void isnt a entity, its just opening a door into space) #3: make sure to always get the levers you see with numbers, so you don't get a time over #4: only go for the doors with a black box on them, going for doors without them could lead to you dying. its never worth the risk. #5: its like the rooms where the deeper you're into it, the more darker it gets (you can't use a flashlight because this technically is before you even get to door 1 in the main game) That's all the tips i have, good luck and get coins for the massive potion at the end so when your at the start, you can put it in the rift as a trophy for you to remember Edit: i forgot to mention, when you DO get a time over, before you die a red aura is around your screen, thats like a 10 second count until you get a switch, so when you are at 00:00 then you have to make it your main priority for getting a switch, because if you don't your dead.

The game now has too many traps for AFK players: 1. If the other player runs away, you are hit by void. 2. if you are 1 and you just stand there, the light bulbs will break and the screech will kill you 3. if you are standing in a room with a clock and suddenly come to your senses, dread will kill you in the next room 4. Hide is killing in the closet 5. in the back door you are killed by the brother of specimen 9
@glitchon7151Most of these aren't even AFK traps . 1: if someone's not keeping up with others then ofc something should happen or rush etc could spawn right on top of them 2: never realistically happens 4: it's a game mechanic, ambush wouldn't work without it 5: ITS A TIMER DUH
I like this update. New floor and improvements. I guess they removed you really can run because they implemented a longer chase that has a chance to appear the second time you meet seek.
A thing that you missed: Lighters or Flashlights that you buy from Jeff's shop now don't have full durability like they use to. I bought one because I needed to and saw that. And it would kinda be fair because items from Jeff's shop cost a lot less than the Pre Shop's items, even if it's in the middle of the game.
Oh and also. They removed the last year's april fools event from the modifiers, so even if u have the "Survival the Jeff the Killer" badge you won't be able to play it. Aka they totally removed the Super Hard mode event and has now became history.
@@mariutalbertrafael It's because it worked on a type of room generation before the Hunt update, which reworked room generation. The devs said that they're fixing it and it should be back some day. Maybe for April Fools this year they'll re-release it to work with the new room generation.
All the Backdoor entities (during THE HUNT: FIRST EDITION): Blitz: Appereance: Looks like Rush, but is green, a little bit creepier, and it's head is smaller, and can turn red. Spawn: Spawns when the lights flicker, then the lightbulbs break. Way to avoid: Hide in a closet till you can no longer hear it. Abilities: Attack the player if found (instant kill with), jumpscare, turn red to anchor itself for 1-3 seconds, then turn back to green and leave. Vaccum: Appereance: Just a wind that pulls you into the void. Spawn: Spawns behind doors that lead to the void. Way to avoid: Don't immediately run into side doors (that don't have timecounters or a name). Abilities: Vaccums players into the void, getting them killed (the ROBLOX void instantly kills). Lookman: Appereance: A tall creepy human-like figure that teleports around. Spawn: Spawns randomly in rooms. Way to avoid: Do not look at it. Abilities: Damages players when they look at it (takes away 25% of the victim's max health), teleport. Haste: Appereance: A red skull that rushes quickly trought the hallways emitting a red light. Spawn: Spawns if the player ran out of time in any room. Way to avoid: Don't waste, use up too many time, make sure to pull the lever, which gives more time. Abilities: Attack the player (instant kill), jumpscare with texts that are not english. Hide (UNCONFIRMED): NOTICE: No youtuber has confirmed yet that that Hide is in the Backdoor also. Appereance: An appereanceless entity that lurks in closets. Spawn: Spawns/gets alerted if a player has been in a closet for too long time. Way to avoid: Don't be in closets for too long, if an entity comes, make sure you've got enough time till it passes for good. Abilities: Damage and push the player out of closets and from underneath beds (takes away about 1/3 of the victim's max health), warn the player by putting texts saying "GET OUT" on thier screen, if they don't, the entity will attack. Curious Light: Appereance: A yellow sparkling source of light. Spawn: Spawns on players' screen when they die. Way to avoid: Don't die, his texts might be useless most of the time, but still don't avoid him, beacuse sometimes, he is a bit useful. Abilities: Appears as a yellow screen putting texts saying different things, mostly useless, but sometimes useful, when the player dies.

nice vid!, also a few things you forogt: Now after leaving the library, rush can spawn right next after jeff shop, if that happens, jeff will close the shop and el goblino will hide behind a box to survive. (ik someone else already told you that) It seems that the lighter has less durability now In the painting in door 60, they changed it to have a moon icon on top right and a modifier icon on bottom left.

Two of the biggest changes I noticed: 1. In the rooms that T, the door is not always to the right this time. Also, in the larger T rooms with cabinets blocking one part of the T, the end door can be the correct one; it isnt always the one behind the cabinets. 2. Rush can overtake during the Seek sequence. In my experience, he never spawned after the Seek eyes started showing up (without mods, ofc). Last night a light flicker happened 2 doors after the eyes started spawning and Rush came through in the Seek hall. Also, You Really Can Run was part of the stack I use for Not Five Stars tries... I'm a bit disappointed with it being removed, I dont really want to add Ambush mods.... Currently running Roundabout, Battle of Wits, Tripped and Fell, Locked and Loaded, and a random 5% mod, whatever I'm feeling (the 5% I'm working on since the Seek mod switch). Any recommendations for a better stack or any changes to the stack? I'm good with trying any changes, but if anyone suggests an Ambush mod, please lmk how frequently he spawns with Back for Seconds.

He still can flicker and is probably neat for Rush to comes in and swoop you to make you think you are safe when going through the eye rooms before the long chase.
There's also another update in greenhouse that you can see snare in the ground without light source, so yep, i made it from 90 to 100 without damage or light source!
Update may look small. But it's much bigger than you think. I think they added the last touches for floor 1 Im very sure after floor 2 update, the hunt modifier will be added otherwise it will be an unobtainable achievement, make a modifier for backdoors entities with haste and his time thing.
At 6:07, be aware, the look man has a delayed glitch where when you enter a room, he can spawn right in front of you without even being there and the game will still count him as there. That’s why it’s always important to look down in a slanted vision to not look at the look man’s eye, most annoying entity in the back doors FYI: just because haste is coming after you, AFTER you run out of time. Doesn’t mean you’re instantly dead. You can still survive haste IF there is a time lever nearby before he jump scares you. So if haste is coming, find a time lever quick to prevent his jump scare
(little tip if you're at 0 second, it'll take 5-10 seconds for Haste, the entity that kills you when you have no time left, to completely kill you. on that short period of time, I managed to get a lever before dying to him so I lived with a minute left)
I think the new Dread enemy was a HUGE swing and miss.. I think the concept for this guy is the coolest concept in doors. but here comes the "HUGE swing and miss.." part. Instead of making it a YOUVE BEEN HERE TOO LONG message to noobs, they made him impossible to find casually. Who the he'll is gonna stare at a ingame clock at the start of the game for AN HOUR, then for no reason, LOG BACK ON AND GO TO DOOR 13?????? this is how it shoulda been. ..after 45 minutes in the hotel, everything changes. everthing goes dark, even the entities flee. the clock in the room gets unreasonably loud. tick. tock. tick. tock then! it stops. the lights break as your vision starts to shrink. you see something. its getting closer, closer, CLOSER.... Okay that's where I want that hole jumpscare are to play That would be how I would like my version. Or, your alternative to this? Some guy stares at a clock in a hotel for an hour And goes to the 13th room for literally no reason
Still seek is my favorite Nostalgic Fact: Dread was a fanmade doors entity back then his cycle is like you go behind the jeff shop and then like click or touch the father clock and dread will spawn.
6:08 so, I think what happened there is that shadow hasn't yet become solid and was invisible at the time but the look trigger already spawned. Not really your fault but well, Lookman is really common so looking down in The Backdoor is a good habit.
I’m convinced lSPLASH added the second rift because everyone put the scanner in the normal one. So obviously as a person who needs to seek help I did another A-1000 run to put a second scanner in the gold rift
another thing that has changed i think is rushes jumpscare cuz its faster than the old one and rush gets closer 2 times in the new one but in the old one he gets closer 3 times
Idea: Do a Beating doors with spawning modifiers video. In this video, you will do these modifiers: Worst time ever, Rush hour, Nosey, Itchy, Are those pancakes!, I’m everywhere, Wrong number and Rooms for more. These modifiers make the entities spawning horribly high.
This is a W update for sure. I’d love if they added a speedrun mode for regular doors. they’d probably make it a modifier. Do y’all think they’ll make it -100 doors to make it harder, new entities/mechanics, or both?
1 thing you missed, there is now a red flashing by your durability when it will run out on durability items and a little crouching icon by your health to indicate you're crouching. (some things I found :/ )
Normally the music's ending is synced with Haste spawning but before you flick the first lever it's not, which disappoints/irritates me more than it should
Btw for anyone who is struggling to beat it listen for a beeping. That is a lever that has 30 seconds or a minute of time. The entity can be cancelled by flicking a lever. Be cautious and aware on how much time you have.
The battery for the flashlight also recharges it more and the on/off switch has an animation The eyes spawning and despawning also has an effect Dread can be crucified Number 13 is a cursed number and that's why Dread spawns at Door 13 (and I think if you open the next door before Dread comes you can despawn Dread and also if you hide while Dread is coming then Dread will just camp the closet until you come out or Hide kicks you out)
So, Ryan actually found a way to bug out Haste by getting more time just as it was about to jumpscare him, I'm sure that'll get fixed with time though.

W video btw when you were doing the endless ambush run when ambush got you through the wall that’s not what happened ambush has a random chance to Noclip though walls it happened to me as well
another use of the potion is for example when you can't hide from rush, you can use it and it will give you a shield and rush is set to deal exactly 125* damage so you will survive (but only the big potion will help, not the small one) edit: you can also survive blitz with a potion because blitz deals exactly 100 damage so you will even survive with a small potion (25 shield)
Things, that i love about doors updates: -They don't change the base of the game much, yet they still add a lot of stuff, that is really enjoyful to play. -Also specifically about this update i like, how unexpected it was. Most people just thought that floor 2 is gona be the next update, but it isn't and again, it's really good either way. @Tobiasgames_RBX for that "Walmart dupe" you are getting a sub. 😂

I died from Haste on my first run with no idea with what I was doing, and I was with people who seemed to be beginners too (I always go with people since I get a anxiety attack everytime I go solo and it stresses me out and I mess up everytime so I go with people)
3 things you missed: (already noted by gavinarad2288) if rush comes by the jeff shop, el goblino hides, jeff takes all his stuff inside and closes. to this, it was also added a chat line with el goblino where he calls rush "smiley guy" or something, and said he came through once if you use the crucifix on halt, you will shortly be teleported out. why? I don't know :( SUPER HARD MODE!!! decorations have been added to the greenhouse. i dont know why to this either.
Annoying change: Rush and eyes can spawn almost anywhere, they both can spawn in dark rooms, locked rooms, seek crescendos and Rush sometimes spawn in rooms WITHOUT closets (ex: painting room [btw Rush's path in the painting room is changed])
blitz is like a fusion with rush and ambush, so i call it AMRUSH (blitz have almost the same face of rush, and come more easily like rush, but sometimes it can go and back like ambush, and have the green light, like ambush too :D)
When curious light says "she said we should call that one blitz" at 8:52 they're referring to guiding light, meaning guiding light is canonically female, although, don't let this news get to the fan artists.

Oh and also. They removed the last year's april fools event from the modifiers, so even if u have the "Survival the Jeff the Killer" badge you won't be able to play it. Aka they totally removed the Super Hard mode event and has now became history.
@@mariutalbertrafael It's because it worked on a type of room generation before the Hunt update, which reworked room generation. The devs said that they're fixing it and it should be back some day. Maybe for April Fools this year they'll re-release it to work with the new room generation.

Blitz:
Appereance: Looks like Rush, but is green, a little bit creepier, and it's head is smaller, and can turn red.
Spawn: Spawns when the lights flicker, then the lightbulbs break.
Way to avoid: Hide in a closet till you can no longer hear it.
Abilities: Attack the player if found (instant kill with), jumpscare, turn red to anchor itself for 1-3 seconds, then turn back to green and leave.
Vaccum:
Appereance: Just a wind that pulls you into the void.
Spawn: Spawns behind doors that lead to the void.
Way to avoid: Don't immediately run into side doors (that don't have timecounters or a name).
Abilities: Vaccums players into the void, getting them killed (the ROBLOX void instantly kills).
Lookman:
Appereance: A tall creepy human-like figure that teleports around.
Spawn: Spawns randomly in rooms.
Way to avoid: Do not look at it.
Abilities: Damages players when they look at it (takes away 25% of the victim's max health), teleport.
Haste:
Appereance: A red skull that rushes quickly trought the hallways emitting a red light.
Spawn: Spawns if the player ran out of time in any room.
Way to avoid: Don't waste, use up too many time, make sure to pull the lever, which gives more time.
Abilities: Attack the player (instant kill), jumpscare with texts that are not english.
Hide (UNCONFIRMED):
NOTICE: No youtuber has confirmed yet that that Hide is in the Backdoor also.
Appereance: An appereanceless entity that lurks in closets.
Spawn: Spawns/gets alerted if a player has been in a closet for too long time.
Way to avoid: Don't be in closets for too long, if an entity comes, make sure you've got enough time till it passes for good.
Abilities: Damage and push the player out of closets and from underneath beds (takes away about 1/3 of the victim's max health), warn the player by putting texts saying "GET OUT" on thier screen, if they don't, the entity will attack.
Curious Light:
Appereance: A yellow sparkling source of light.
Spawn: Spawns on players' screen when they die.
Way to avoid: Don't die, his texts might be useless most of the time, but still don't avoid him, beacuse sometimes, he is a bit useful.
Abilities: Appears as a yellow screen putting texts saying different things, mostly useless, but sometimes useful, when the player dies.

Two of the biggest changes I noticed:
1. In the rooms that T, the door is not always to the right this time. Also, in the larger T rooms with cabinets blocking one part of the T, the end door can be the correct one; it isnt always the one behind the cabinets.
2. Rush can overtake during the Seek sequence. In my experience, he never spawned after the Seek eyes started showing up (without mods, ofc). Last night a light flicker happened 2 doors after the eyes started spawning and Rush came through in the Seek hall.
Also, You Really Can Run was part of the stack I use for Not Five Stars tries... I'm a bit disappointed with it being removed, I dont really want to add Ambush mods....
Currently running Roundabout, Battle of Wits, Tripped and Fell, Locked and Loaded, and a random 5% mod, whatever I'm feeling (the 5% I'm working on since the Seek mod switch). Any recommendations for a better stack or any changes to the stack? I'm good with trying any changes, but if anyone suggests an Ambush mod, please lmk how frequently he spawns with Back for Seconds.

You forgot that seeks eyes no longer flicker the lights and rush can now spawn when seeks eyes are present
He still can flicker and is probably neat for Rush to comes in and swoop you to make you think you are safe when going through the eye rooms before the long chase.
I like the new second seek chase, although it may be a little less difficult, it is certainly cooler now that the second chase has more variety

Im very sure after floor 2 update, the hunt modifier will be added otherwise it will be an unobtainable achievement, make a modifier for backdoors entities with haste and his time thing.
At 6:07, be aware, the look man has a delayed glitch where when you enter a room, he can spawn right in front of you without even being there and the game will still count him as there. That’s why it’s always important to look down in a slanted vision to not look at the look man’s eye, most annoying entity in the back doors
FYI: just because haste is coming after you, AFTER you run out of time. Doesn’t mean you’re instantly dead. You can still survive haste IF there is a time lever nearby before he jump scares you. So if haste is coming, find a time lever quick to prevent his jump scare

The easiest way for me to beat the backdoor is to basically look down the whole time
Yes, this is a very good strategy to avoid Lookman because it only attacks if you look above eye level.
But its kinda hard to find the lever or at least for me

6:08 so, I think what happened there is that shadow hasn't yet become solid and was invisible at the time but the look trigger already spawned. Not really your fault but well, Lookman is really common so looking down in The Backdoor is a good habit.

1 thing you missed, there is now a red flashing by your durability when it will run out on durability items and a little crouching icon by your health to indicate you're crouching. (some things I found :/ )
Normally the music's ending is synced with Haste spawning but before you flick the first lever it's not, which disappoints/irritates me more than it should
Btw for anyone who is struggling to beat it listen for a beeping. That is a lever that has 30 seconds or a minute of time. The entity can be cancelled by flicking a lever. Be cautious and aware on how much time you have.
The battery for the flashlight also recharges it more and the on/off switch has an animation
The eyes spawning and despawning also has an effect
Dread can be crucified
Number 13 is a cursed number and that's why Dread spawns at Door 13 (and I think if you open the next door before Dread comes you can despawn Dread and also if you hide while Dread is coming then Dread will just camp the closet until you come out or Hide kicks you out)

another use of the potion is for example when you can't hide from rush, you can use it and it will give you a shield and rush is set to deal exactly 125* damage so you will survive (but only the big potion will help, not the small one)
edit: you can also survive blitz with a potion because blitz deals exactly 100 damage so you will even survive with a small potion (25 shield)

Annoying change: Rush and eyes can spawn almost anywhere, they both can spawn in dark rooms, locked rooms, seek crescendos and Rush sometimes spawn in rooms WITHOUT closets (ex: painting room [btw Rush's path in the painting room is changed])

Something about haste is that when he spawns, if you find a lever before he finds you he despawns, learnt it from personal experience
