I’m partially deaf, and struggle a lot to play this game because of all the sound cues, but I play with my friend and he helps me understand the cues better and I was finally able to beat it. but anyway, my point is that I applaud you for doing this! @@el3169 No lights flicker to indicate the rush or ambush is coming so you have to rely on sound, but if you want to be careful, once you get to the greenhouse, wait in front of the closet for abt 5-6 seconds amd get in for every room till 100, at least thats what I do
A-60 has to be the most dangerous entity while in the hotel because of how quiet it is, the rooms are very quiet and have no ambience making it easy to hear when it spawns in, the hotel has rain, thunder, random noises like knocking, roaring, whispering, and hearing its spawn in sound is very, VERY difficult
I think it's A-120 because his sound cue is very faint sounds that sound like someone pounding on a door. With the rain ambience it would be way harder to tell if he was ever coming until it would be too late.
You would have been safe without hiding in the library. The bookshelves would have protected you from Ambush. Better safe than sorry though, I suppose.
Wow, this video really illustrates the way A-90 lowers the volume of the surroundings before he attacks. I wonder if that was helpful in this run because of all the noise from the Hotel and other monsters.

Just so you know if you have any modifiers that increase your speed figure will always know where you are as the faster you move the louder your footsteps become and this forces you to keep moving because of maximum overdrive
It’s based off of distance traveled, your footsteps don’t become louder with speed, if figure is far enough to not hear you, he won’t, no matter what speed

fyi i think you have a solid 3-5 seconds to wait before getting into a wardrobe! i timed it with friends months ago so i can’t rlly remember the exact time, but if you wait a little it’ll definitely save you from having to get out before hide kicks you out
I’ve gotten to Door 10 with all of the bad ones on. I can’t get any further because you basically have to buy Vitamins and run for your life and pray that Rush won’t catch you before you can blindly find a closet. You also gotta constantly look down.

UPDATE: First of all, I'm gonna say that he doesn't chase you in every room. Only in library (room 50). Second, new badge, named "Eye + Figure = OP". To get the badge beat doors with "Figure HAS Eyes" modifier. Finally last thing, Figure will be a little bit slower than before (Little bit slower than the player). UPDATE 2: First of all. I will say that I don't want to make this comment a WHOLE text. Next, I thinked of a new modifier, called "Figure's Wrath". The new modifier is "Figure HAS Eyes" modifier on asteroids. LITTERALY, IT'S THE SAME AS FIGURE HAS EYES BUT WITH NEW THINGS. And the things are: Figure now has a path that like click to move but it's a bot. And the path is NOT visible. Second thing is... Eyes can spawn in different location in the library and door 100 BUT, in library Eyes spawns AFTER the cutscene. And at door 100 after the small chase.
Be aware. Ambushes rat cast can see past bookcases. As it was never meant to to spawn there. Also. That was a good idea to not trust that blind spot due to to the way a-60 was coded he can see past closets

To clarify what the above commenter said, you can take any exit from The Rooms which will give you the Back On Track badge, which is required to get the Room For More modifier. If I recall correctly the first one is found at A-250 and then they start appearing every 50 rooms. You can also get to A-1000 which will grant you both the A-1000 badge and the Back On Track badge.
the easiest way i've found to make an impossible game: maximum overdrive + wet floor + it can run too i've tried many times i could never get past the first seek chase. the slipping effect seems to get stronger the faster you go

They changed Rush. It now can be announced during dark rooms and Seek’s Crecendo (when the eyes start appearing on the walls.)

also if your in the entrance to rooms snd ambush comes you dont need to go into closet bc ambush only kills players if it sees you so as long as you dont let ambush see you your good

What Modifier Did You Use To Get The Rooms Entities? And How Do I Unlock It?
Modifier: Room For More!
How To Get Said Modifier: Escape the rooms through the exit.
To clarify what the above commenter said, you can take any exit from The Rooms which will give you the Back On Track badge, which is required to get the Room For More modifier. If I recall correctly the first one is found at A-250 and then they start appearing every 50 rooms. You can also get to A-1000 which will grant you both the A-1000 badge and the Back On Track badge.

the easiest way i've found to make an impossible game:
maximum overdrive + wet floor + it can run too
i've tried many times i could never get past the first seek chase. the slipping effect seems to get stronger the faster you go
should have done back for seconds so that ambush rebounds more then once

Idk how to beat hotel hell, but there should be an achievement for beating this.
If there was an achievement for every hard mod set then almost none would get all.
I beat the game with all these modifiers except nosey but even so I got unlucky with eyes anyways
The most funny part about this is that this really hard run is still a -90% which is the same as having every positive modifier active
