I know it's a repeat of a twitch stream, but one thing I'd like for randomness in Hades 2 is the ability to "recharge" keepsakes so you can guarantee additional Boons from a particular Olympian. This really shows up in H1 when you want to try for later game builds such as in Styx Temple but of the 5-6 boons on offer between Charon and the Tunnels none of them are from your preferred Olympian even if you have a fresh keepsake equipped.
@@adrianmagana153 I think it would be fine if for example it replaced your ability to reroll boons, like an alternative mirror option. On consideration you're right about the tunnel. I'm realizing that the actual issue is you get ONE tunnel option but if they aren't in the pool already that's all you can get, the shop cannot be populated.
While I usually find cast builds annoying to play because I hate picking the stones back up, Hera bow hits different. Artemis cast with Hera bow actually goes crazy.
Yayyyyy hera build thanks for doing this. I watched crovens 5:16 any percent recently its really insane such a great aspect. Love the content Catch you on the next one Dan
i've just played hera bow game and i got 9 casts on hades fight. Nine fucking casts xD 3 chaos gates, arty legendary and random chiron gift (cast). I've never got so many, have you, Haelian?))
I was watching this video because I can’t seem to get the hang of the Hera bow. I’ve heard it’s good but I’m fairly trash with it. A few times I didn’t even make it out of Tartarus. I thought maybe I was just using the wrong build. But man, I had to watch this video at 0.5x speed just to follow it, and even then I had trouble comprehending what was happening a lot of the time. 😆 It’s crazy to me that people can play at heat 15+ on a time limit crush it without even blinking, and here’s me struggling with heat 6 without a time limit to even get to the end.
16:10 I was talking with a couple people on discord while I watched this video and almost went crazy trying to figure out where the stupid notification had come from
I vote for less RNG. As a psychology nerd, I get it. The brain releases the most dopamine when things are maximally uncertain, which is to say equal chance at every option (50/50). This makes things compelling (borderline “addicting”) and this increases engagement. I don’t think sitting around being sedentary playing video games for thousands of hours a year is healthy. And unless it’s your job I’m not a huge fan of that lifestyle. So I want to be able to play a game, do everything I want to do, get bored with it, and move on with my life. If it’s keeping me engaged by using psychological tactics and RNG preventing me from doing what I want to do so I have to keep playing, I think that’s unhealthy. I think there’s a fair balance to be made here. Perhaps rolling your choices could make one choice increased rarity and not give the option to see the same boon as last time. I’ve literally rolled into the exact same three boons multiple times before and that’s just stupid. Since hades is not multi player you don’t have to worry too much about empowering the player since there is no other players that get hurt by my being OP. Case in point. It took me half a day trying to force Sea Storm on flurry jab before I even got offered sea storm. That’s dumb. That’s wasted time. Since then I’ve gotten it more consistently but extending the playtime using RNG is lame to me. Some amount of that is fine. But don’t waste half my day. Make thing more consistent. You’ll still get dozens if not a hundred hours out of the game given the variety of options. We don’t need to treat video games like drugs trying to maximize neurochemical rewards. Just let me do what I want with reasonable effort. I’m not saying no RNG. I’m just saying the right amount. Or maybe make it adjustable so that everyone can have the right amount for them. It’s not like F2P games that make money off of the player base. Once I pay $50 on steam the devs got thier money worth it doesn’t matter if I play for 20 hours or 200. So why block my fun with RNG?
@@CarlYota Agreed on the "not seeing the exact same three boons". Using a reroll to get the same options (or even 2/3, which I swear happens a *lot* more than it should) feels bad. I'd be maybe okay with one of them being the same but a higher rarity, but getting the same stuff just unnecessarily wastes player resources.

That would be way OP. Also, a fresh god keepsake in Styx guarantees seeing that god in a tunnel, so that scenario you're describing doesn't apply.

On consideration you're right about the tunnel. I'm realizing that the actual issue is you get ONE tunnel option but if they aren't in the pool already that's all you can get, the shop cannot be populated.
Nah, that sounds broken. The god keepsakes are already overpowered.
What I truly want in Hades 2 is some kind of online multiplayer, if they got that I'll disappear for a few months when it drops.

Recently got back into playing hades again, it’s nice seeing your videos again!
how can such skill exist? applausing always and forever
istg as soon as i booted this video up i got a hera run with quick reload, greater recall, and exit wounds
you are magic
Had my first sub-10 run with Hera + Crush Shot, it’s great

Holy shit that 17000 damage in the intro! Can anyone tell which video is it from?

Your bow control is amazing! I can’t get under 10 IGT with Hera (I’m at 10.08). Do you have any piece of advice to practice?

The notification at 16:10 really got me
Sorry, I just stayed playing a week ago. With the Hera viw, so you have to cast before attacking to load the cast into the attack?
Yes
Just got my first sub 20 run ever!
was there a point we described anything?

Why crush shot over the dio cast? Isn’t his stronger?
Nah Crush shot better for Hera, get the casts back immediately if enemies die.
@@Haelian ohh okay that makes sense
Kinda surprised nobody suggested "big pp" on the dating app profile
I fuckin lost it at "not with your pictures" during that bit xD
I like ducks :D
Isn't this Aphrodite, not Hera?
Aphrodite is the boon, Hera is the bow aspect
Cuz it's easy. And does alotta damage.

What's your controller binding for this?
