Thank you, that is a very different branch and can even be said to be a separate system, I have friends who train in it and it is a very formidable style.
Hi Yes, the master in Kill Bill is modeled after the priest nicknamed Pak Mei who is the founder of the style. His appearance was also copied as the look and get up of some villains in the old Hong Kong Shaw Brother movies. This was because according to some legends it was the priest Pak Mei who was responsible for the burning of the Shaolin Temple and allegedly while the temple was being burnt down he was fighting the head Abbot and killed him in single combat.
Well noted… I wouldn’t say I know Pak Mei, but I do have my own style that is uniquely my own and somehow it matches the description of Pak Mei by coincidence and here I thought I was just being as formless as water. However there are moves in Pak Mei that I seen in this video that makes think “Now that’s not how anyone should use precision in a martial art.” If you can use tiger claw effectively in a fight, then that’s good for you, however I do believe that tiger claw is useless to fighters who want to fight with precision like I do.

Pak Mei is very practical,I came into it after decades of Tae Kwon Do and Japanese Jujitsu training (black belts in both systems).

Be well
@Pakua4581 if you think the real pak mei kung fu can be mastered in only 6 years you haven't reach the highest level, I have seen with my own eyes scared power how fast and explosive some of the highest level students are and even them are as good as kwong man fong let alone Cheung Lai Chun, the fat san pak mei and the one you showing in those videos aren't as explosive and fast and the ones from kwong man fong school
@@alsimmonshellspawn6021 Thank you and good to know, from what I can tell from your statements is that you may have not been dealt the right cards, good luck with your training.
I do like what the current Sifus of the Kwong Man Fong lineage showcase and they have a great skill set, however, many others in different lineages share the same skills (its not rocket science and we are also in the 21st century with easier access to knowledge).
Also Fatsan Pak Mei is a different system and not mentioned anywhere in my video, it is a very formidable style and not one to be messed with.
Incidentally Scared power needs to be felt and not seen.......
@Pakua4581 if your sifu doesn't practice Taoism meditation he isn't at the highest level and even if we are in modern times many grandmasters would never share all their secrets to their students
@@alsimmonshellspawn6021 Please dont assume things based on visual short videos. I gave you enough of a hint with the "inverted fire' reference which if you were privy to anything you would have gotten the message. I am an inheritor of the Taoist Sine kung practice which includes the method, the mantra and the altar for my Southern Mantis pai, and you are correct that not everyone gets this knowledge as it is for closed door disciples (understand this point and how it pertains to my sentence). I will not be engaging with you going forward so please move on if you dont like my video/channel.
I have seen and heard this before, when in the ring these guys looked like fools.
There are videos of some of yasser's kung fu brothers taking first and second place in sanda 🎉 tell us all, what do you look like in the ring?
Dit dar jao
Yes you are correct, I did not mention Jow/liniment on purpose as It would confuse a layman who is watching the video so Dit Dar medicine is how I stated it.
@@Pakua4581 my teacher when I was younger used to make us put this stuff on after training..all I remember was it stunk and made my hands hot but sped up the healing process..I was to young to really understand.
Does it work in practice...I wonder...seems like just waving goodbye to somebody...heh heh...
I’m sure Xu Xiaodong would be happy to give it a test :)
It works very well in practice, most of the Triad (Chinese mob)enforcers are Pak Mei guys…..
@@Pakua4581 no offense intended to you sir I find your statement a little hard to believe
I'd more likely to believe Chinese triads are trained in something more practical like the Chinese version of Japanese Jujitsu /judo
I can't spell it but I'm sure you know what art I'm referring to ?
@@Pakua4581(Shui jao) I think this is the wrong spelling it's the age old Chinese grappling art
@@joeblogs-vx4ep hi,
The main disseminator of Pak Mei,Cheung Lai Chun Sifu, had a large student following in the Triads as well as personal friends who were very high up in the chain of command.I myself had a mentor in Hong Kong who passed away during Covid times who was an enforcer, and he was so formidable that even in his 70’s he was asked to mediate difficult cases. The guys who trained the system trained only the bare bone ‘snippets’ so to speak and usually focused on the two forms Jik Bo and Gao Bo Toi as well as some San sao combinations and they were hard as nails.
Pak Mei is very practical,I came into it after decades of Tae Kwon Do and Japanese Jujitsu training (black belts in both systems).
Kung fu Is awesome and has loads of great training techniques and ideas . The hate it gets from the cultist losers is ridiculous.
Outdated and useless,except for exercise
Not really,if one focuses on the underlying principles and concepts and trains the system correctly and keeps a focus on how to counter what is out there (ie 21st century combative,MMA etc)then it’s highly lethal in application.
Some asian fighting styles have more to it than meets the eye, but on the other side i am sometimes not sure if the chubby guys dressed in carnival costumes do represent them properly. Maybe they want you to think that way like the native americans that were dressing like clowns in order not to scare people, who knows.
Some of the guys displaying their style rather remind me on the video How To Get Banned From Karate. Shayne Smith, too. Than on the video Huaquan Fist | 滑拳, who seems to be a way more serious fighter even in old age.
