MAGIC MESSI MAYHEM IN NYC!! COPA AMERICA 2024 VLOG #74 ARGENTINA VS CHILE @ METLIFE STADIUM

Hey, yall, I have a surprise episode! It was very last minute, but I ended up pulling the trigger and buying a ticket to see the GOAT and Argentina take on Chile in the 2nd group stage match of the 2024 edition of the Copa America! It would be my 1st time at the insane and enormous Metlife stadium, situated in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and home to both the ny jets and giants. Also, what will be the venue for the 2026 World Cup Final! I started the adventure quite late in the day and didn't have much time to venture to other places in the city prior to the match, which is why the episode is shorter than usual. Also, along with me was my cousin Javi, who some of you may recognize from very early on in my vlogs. I would take the A train downtown to 34th St. Penn station, where I would transfer to a NJ transit train and transfer again from Seacacus junction to Meadowlands. I arrived with some time to spare and was in complete awe of the venue! With so many Argentina fans there to see and root for Messi, there were a bit more red jerseys than I anticipated! We grabbed a brew and headed to our seats, and what a grand view we had! Sunset and everything!
Man, I really thought I would never get to see Messi again after my 2019 visit to the Camp Nou, where I would see him score a brace. So, I am extremely grateful to have been in his presence once more. Though he didn't manage to score this time around, he did rattle the bar once. A very tough bout between these 2 conmebol giants almost left us with a goalless draw. However, late on, 1 man would come on and change the script. Lautaro, EL TORO, Martinez! After a series of rebounds in the box, he managed to put a foot on it and find the back of the net. He almost made it a brace a few minutes later, but his shot was saved. The 1 nil would be enough to seal all 3 points to Messi and Co ensuring their spot in the ko!
That's how my journey to see the GOAT would end. I absolutely enjoyed making the trip to Jersey and getting a glimpse of perhaps what a World Cup final could look like! I hope you all enjoy this special vlog, and I promise to try to finish up the remainder of the Bundesliga vlogs I have sitting on my desk.
