Lady Luck… I enjoy listening to all of the Budakhel guys sing but it was a very special song from Daryl that helped provide a very emotional & romantic moment at my wedding reception in December of 2020. The song is called “Beautiful as You”, featuring a guy named Jim Brickman on piano. We chose it to share our first dance as husband & wife to, much to the surprise of our reception guests & there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It’s one of the most touching & heart warming songs I’ve ever heard. Daryl is the man 👍😄. You can’t go wrong with a song from Daryl Ong ✊️😁♥️♥️♥️
Haha. "a guy named Jim Brickman" (he's pretty well known in the music industry). Brickman saw Daryl and Wonji performing another of his songs, My Destiny. He tried to get them together again to do another, but was unable to. Instead, he did Beautiful with Daryl and Valentine with Wonji. Katrina Velarde also covered Valentine. Beautiful would be awesome as a wedding song, congrats!
@@KaliFlamingo … Thankyou, & apologies for “playing down” Jim’s significance in the industry 🙏😌. I remember when Daryl uploaded the song to his channel & how much it moved me, almost to tears as the words REALLY hit home. I played it for my wife (fiancée at the time) when she got home from work & she went through the same emotions I did. I asked her how she’d feel having it as our “first dance” song & she didn’t say a word. All she did was look at me with tears rolling down her cheeks & nodded. Our wedding guests had similar reactions after hearing it. We’ve been married for just on 18 months now & welcomed our first child into the world last September (a baby girl) & we couldn’t be happier 😍♥️😍

Jessica is 6 months old tomorrow & has the best “personal security” imaginable in the form of our 95 pound German Shepherd who loves & adores her & doesn’t let anyone he doesn’t know or recognise get anywhere near her. He’s a police dog (my wife’s a police K-9 handler) & lives with us.

Daryl admits that he kind of went nuts on runs on this song. He also described that he hears a song and just hears the runs fitting in. Like he doesn't have to plan them, or as you say, he just breathes them out. Daryl has at least two songs on his channel that he sings with his wife Dea. Beautiful and I Won't Give Up. Both are beautiful.
