It's from trying to compare apples to apples in RC. The tolerances usually always guarantee some variation between the exact same trucks, let alone when you have different brands of bearings, motors, etc...
I usually use the shaft that goes into that bushing walking it out in circles. Old Tamiya trick

I won't say Fast Eddie bearings are "the best"...but, they certainly are among the top. What is important is, when comparing price vs performance, Fast Eddie IS what I'd considered "Best Bang for The Buck".
who would you say is "the best"?
@@HolmesHobbies For pure performance, I'd probably have to say Boca Bearings, closely followed by (in a fairly equal tie) Avid RC, and Acer Bearings. For "Best Bang for The Buck", I'd put Avid RC at the top. The 'problem' with Boca is the overly-high prices.
Ok so just say you like fast eddy least of all ..lol ofcourse bocxa bearings are better that goes without saying . I'd say Jim's acer and fast Eddie are same quality . I'd like to compare or even splurge for bocca to see if takes the slop out of the arrmas . Everyone praised the rubber shielded upgrade on new models . Fact is the metal shielded were best rtr bearings I've used. Horizon must been thinking score these dummys lol .
I get avid accer mixed up I did have one of those recently and thought they may been better than fast eddy , fast eddy was like 22 bucks for kit though now getting up there ..... I know inflation a bitch

@@HolmesHobbies done a hole bunch of water service repairs here in southern Utah where the city water company used shark bites to reconnect culinary and irrigation services after a roadway improvement project, kinda dumb...but that's what you get when the gub'mnt is involved I guess 🤷 -ditch digger
But if you want to have no problem fun in water and mud runs stay with the stock bushings.
