Two springs are necessary for trail riding, you’ll find it will definitely come down with one. A good trick you can try is to stuff the spring full of change. Pennies, nickels, dimes etc to spread the spring apart while you install it.
Please explain why I need it for trail riding?
The single spring tension is 50% of what it was designed to work with, and it was designed with two springs for proper retention against downward inertia from off roading. Worst case scenario it destroys the stand or hangs up and causes an accident.
Install the stock spring. That center stand is gonna drop when you hit a serious hump guaranteed!
It’s installed now
Nice bike the transalp
Im riding it lot now in Europe
I love it
Are both wheels touching the ground while it's up on the stand?
