I LOVE that you commentate! I love learning about these places and the history and the things you share! That’s what makes your channel different from all the other walk about channels. ❤🎉
Woohoo, a driving video in NYC! 19:36 Spectacular views of Brooklyn Bridge and Midtown Manhattan skyline. 😍 21:28 Brooklyn Bridge! 🤩 This was enjoyable, and I felt like I was in a private tour in this car ride. 😎 Thank you for sharing this informative narrated driving video, AK! 🤗
I love these drives thru Queens & Brooklyn. I used to live in Bensonhurst many years ago & have fond memories of the area. Thanks for the drive to Dyker Heights!😊
The ActionKid turns on the air conditioner 💧 & enjoys a rare driving experience in the city. Overall he is fortunate to avoid heavy traffic snarls & moves at a steady pace. 🐼
The Second Avenue Elevated ran across this bridge to join the Corona and Astoria Els until June 11, 1942. The streetcars that ran across the bridge until 1956 were the last such vehicles to run in New York State.
Superb Video, brilliant narration that has a dash of history of the landscapes that the car just 'glides' through ! A masterful yet "down-to-earth" ( pun intended !😄) lucid description. Whenever I am in the United States, NYC in particular, I stay in LIC and walk my way to Manhattan, of course, weather permitting. We eagerly look forward to watching many such ventures ! Keep up the Good Work--- Bravo, ActionKid !!!
Nice video ActionKid. The traffic doesn't seem too bad for NYC. I live in Michigan, and our roads are horrible due to very heavy trucks and poor maintenance despite heavy taxes.
Beautiful video of NYC ❤ Never been to Nieuw-Amsterdam (New York) or Breukelen (Brooklyn) but thanks to TH-cam I can gasp its wonderful atmosphere 🏙 Btw. you are the only US-citizen who mention the temperature not only in F (Fahrenheit) but also in C (Celsius) degree ☀🍧
Washington Roebling suffered from the “bends” as a result of time spent in the caissons during the Brooklyn Bridge construction. His wife, Emily then replaced him. But Washington Roebling lived on into the 1920s.
Glad I don't live there anymore! I was born in Hamilton Heights W141 St. & Broadway, we moved to Miami in 1949, thanks for the ride ACKid, Walt in Miami
Thanks!
Thank you so much!

Nice, love that you called it the 59th St bridge. That's old school, my grandfather called it that (and I'm 52 ha ha).
Thanks! I haven't been home in 25 years and feel like I was there! 🙂
Why did you move away?

Thank you! I think the holiday weekend caused the traffic to be lighter than usual.

24:39 I saw this intersection on GG Maps
Did you drive up to NY from Florida, Ken? I can’t keep up with all your travels… Taiwan, Vietnam, Florida, and now New York. You do get around!!
He really is getting around!🎉💯
I didn’t know that the congestion pricing wasn’t in affect 😮
Not yet at least
Nice Actionkid.

Hey Actionkid! Do you think it is possible that use only bicycle, if I live in Manhattan?
Are those apartments or offices that are built into the Brooklyn bridge?
👍❤️
You should have driven on 43rd Street south bound in Sunnyside to enter BQE in order to save mileage instead of driving through Manhattan.
I think the point was not to save mileage but to show us a different and more scenic route.
Very nice liked it better when you drove through Colorado better
Is it pronounced "manha-un" or "man-hat-tun" 😂
