Hmmmmm, I think I’ll have to pop over to Swindon soon, this place looks proper interesting to me. Cheers Josh and the Beyond the Brick crew, great work. Lee UK 🇬🇧
Nice interview. This is a great venue and it has been a great show every year that I've been there. My first time was in 2007, in the large hall. I was actually displaying models at this one (in October 2019) and I'm even in the video. I'm the guy in the bright green T-shirt occasionally visible in the background during the first few minutes of the interview. I was frantically packing up my models. Unfortunately there was no show in 2020 and 2021, due to COVID, but we'll be back in 2022.
I knew there were steam engines that could go over 100 mph but never realized the first vehicle to ever reach that speed was a steam engine! So this event is over. Looks like I need to go back and check out the videos before this. I have been to some train shows and they had some LEGO train layouts. Whether from LEGO or traditional model train layout, given I am into both hobbies, I know how much work and time either kind of layout must be. x_x

The Great Western Railway will always have a special place in my heart right beside the LSWR

Who doesn't love the GWR?
I want to go to this show one day. I'm a humongous lego and train fan.
This is pretty cool.
To my shame, I haven't managed to attend the STEAM show yet. Must pull my finger out this year! 😃
