ZX81 Jump v0.7 - moving animated enemies

  • I'm working on a new platform game called Jump for the Sinclair ZX81 written in pure z80 assembly language. Building on the previous version, I've added two moving animated enemy sprites. The start and end positions are sourced from the room config - which has grown to over 50bytes!
    Still need to add vertical movement to the enemies and collision detection with player. Should be possible to have more enemies and at least one other movement rate.
    Also as can be seen there's a few bugs this is work in progress. The worst bug being that if the player lands on the gold from above the score doesn't increase and they get stuck in room - door stays locked.
