I have to say there things. 1.we don't use garlic and onions for this item. 2. Toor dall and bengal gram are equal quantities socked with chillies with asotida and grainded. It will be baked iddly cookker at least 15 minutes and then used in the sambar.. 3.in the sambar we don't use sambar power separately. 1.tsp toor dall 1 tsp bengal dall 5 chilli half tsp fenugreek. 2 tsp dhaniya one third part of coconut are roasted and grinded as a power that is only used by us in the paruppu Urundai kuzhmbu sambar by the iyyangar style Tredington in South India...
We also do it on holy days as side dish but no garlic and onion, coconut jeera hingbeforw selling we showlo fry the balls,so that extra taste and balls will not spread,your bangles are nice

Mouthwatering preparation. A small suggestion. Please avoid those artificial bangles. They look very beautiful on your hands though. But the artificial stones and other glazzy items may fall unknowingly in the dish. That's very dangerous.
