Hey dude had a question about bogie wheels for the rear specificcaly am I more likely to damage the track running metal bogies? instead of the oem stockers which are plastic had a rock take out a bogie so wanted to upgrade to tki aluminums.21 Khaos
If you run lots of area which have pebble rock as the road base under the snow it could be an issue, but I don’t thing it would be a huge end of the world. These wheels are like a composite Hwmb so more forgiving then aluminum. Stock ones having the rubber around the outside definitely helps the cause in those situations usually. Lots of people run tki so I wouldn’t be to worried.
How much more track is physically on the snow with the 129 to 136 kit with new 2.52 10 tooth drivers? Considering the larger wheels and drivers it shouldn’t be too much more track on the snow…
there's a video of a guy in New Jersey who installed a big wheel kit and was jumping his sled and they bent the rails right where the pillow blocks are.
Are you talking about jessejames322 channel he mentioned he was jumping his sled real hard and bent his stock rails. He ended up changing over to ice age rails
@@MrHitman394 I wish I could add a pic in these comments but it's all good. Especially now with some miles on the track it's stretched out too which gives it even more room.
@@MrHitman394 you get less rolling resistance as the circumference is larger then the stock rear wheels, you’re also getting a more true wheel and if running studs they come out of the ice/hard pack snow with much less drag as the stud starts to round the wheel. It’s the little things that add up in the long run, they are also very appealing to the eye and 4 wheels instead of 3 add more support also ! Cheers
Thank you for the information 😊
I'm in Ontario and have an XC, same suspension. How much is the big wheel kit with the offset axle?
Get ahold of Velocity sled performance and ask for Will he can get you all set up! 🤙

Was wondering every time you need to adjust your track you have to pull both of your outside wheels off to do so? Thanks!!
Yes with the big wheel kit we pull the outer wheels off, so we can loosen the Axel and then make adjustments as needed.

Guy- If you land on the rear Axel with very low snow conditions or hard packed snow/ ice it will bend anything.

What’s the cost for something like that and do U need to change gears????
Joe, contact Velocity Sled Performace for pricing he can be contacted through Facebook 👌
@@krazykanucksperformance2242 great thanks for the help
It looks like the scissor arm is going to hit the wheels.
The video was for demonstration purposes, track wasn't fully tentioned. Everything fits no issues.
@@krazykanucksperformance2242 must be a close fit then. Looks great!

@@krazykanucksperformance2242 any noticeable difference?
