I was there(and at many more). I know what your talking about. I still go to concerts today but nothing will ever be at the crowds, the music and the great fun we had back then. I went to 4 years of Coachella. The first couple years...great...After that it became a bunch of young hipster types that were there just for the crowd. Seeing a great band took a lot of walking and crowd work. Never again

The kids today have no idea what they missed. This was back when singers could sing. Everything from hard rock to soft was still a ballard. When you went to a concert the band was actually singing the song with no help except from the PA. What you heard was his voice with every perfection as well as imperfection. Greatest era period.

God, Ann Wilson was absolutely smoking hot back then. I've been a Heart fan for a long time and watched her evolve over time. Of course, she had her struggles with her weight and all, but I look at her now and I like the way that she turned out. I mean she's still fiercely independent and intelligent with that powerful voice, but there's a wisdom and thoughtfulness there, a certain level of mature introspection. I get the sense that I could just sit and talk with her for hours and never get bored. I still find her physically attractive as well. We've all aged, right? Maybe a few more lines, a few more pounds around the middle. That's all pretty superficial though.

I think you're one of those people who just go out looking for something that someone says so you can virtue signal. Like how dare I mention her weight. It's certainly not a taboo subject with her and it's valid in terms of how the music industry treated her.

Heehee...this was my very first concert. I was just 15yrs9mos. Mom dropped me and my older brother off the night before. My brother went to get us drinks at about noon during the concert (before Santana) and I never saw him the rest of the day. I stayed to the end and then went to the tunnel going under the track and stuck my thumb out asking"anyone going to San Berdnardino?" Within about three minutes someone said come with us, and it turned out they lived just a few blocks from me.
