Houghton garden services God I'm with you on that. Conifers are the Devils plant. Never mind your ground elder and mare tail. Itchy, heavy and too big for most gardens. Hate them. Id cut them out for free, well almost.

an unusual choice of saw? seems to work well. personally loppers and pruning saw. One of the many things I was taught WRONG! at school, was what you see above ground is the same as below, this is defiantly not true, Oh yeah and definatly clean as I go, I would have loved to get the mulcher over that lot, makes really good compost. I was going to ask why not use a mattock, but now I think I am going to have to invest in something like you have. 11 minutes, quick work, really need to invest in one of those, and she sounded so pleased :)

She a lovely lady she made me sit down with her for the last half hour and have a cold drink and a chat 😁
I've just put a video on .with the spade I use and were to get to be from .
That's the second person that finds it strange with the choice of saw .
If it was a laurel or a laylandi with bigger branches of of used a bow/pruning saw .

Just a question I've got 5 small conifers probably have the size of these are a Bit smaller how much would you charge for 5 of these to be took out I've been quoted £200 is that reasonable in your opinion

Can I ask , why the hand saw rather than a pruning saw or bow saw? Your system obviously works well, just curious.

I don't like bow saws for this work as the branches are really spindly so it wouldn't work well oh and I've nearly lost digits using them 🤣🤣🤣 I pruning saw would be ok too use .
But on this job I did it with things pretty much anyone would have in there van or garage .

Choice of saw is a mystery. Silky saw would have been easier.
