TINA J 8 hours ago I’m the caregiver and partner of Mr Carmichael- just a quick note that Brian did a great job and we really appreciate him! Just a quick correction - Mr carmichael had his stroke in December of 2021 right before Christmas. He is not wheelchair bound anymore - he uses a hemi walker. Lawn care has been low on the priority list. His son has tried to help us as much as he can. The house is older, his parents lived here when he was younger. He took pride in his lawn - and he had been keeping it well before his stroke. The dog is actually a sweet lovable dog but very protective of his owner after the hospital stay. His bark is worse than his bite. The glass already had a crack but I’m sure it was scary! The dog just gets excited and doesn’t know his own strength. Thanks again Brian! It was a big help - Dan has been outside to see it and was pleased. A lot of people know Dan, he’s well known in the local music scene (practically a legend as a bass player ) . Hes got a big heart and is the sweetest person I know

Hey Brian! Another great job. Rang a personal note for me too. I suffered a stroke ten years ago and was unable to look after my garden for the first few months afterwards. My partner kept it all going. I started gardening again as soon as I could. It really helped with my rehab. Im still partly disabled but gardening is part of my life again and a great source of pleasure. I was lucky I didn't end up more comprehensively disabled and for people like this guy your help is a godsend. His being able to sit out will help him feel better for sure! I wish them and you all my best!
You can tell that in younger and productive years this place was given care and they were proud of where they lived. Thanks for a wonderful restoration to a nice place. Thanks too for persevering to get it done!

Very true - Mr Carmichael took great pride in his yard - in 2021 he was doing his own yard work. His stroke was December 2021 - his son has been helping as much as he can.
As a stroke survivor myself, I'm feel blessed to still be able to do some yard work, though it's an uphill battle sometimes. It's amazing how bad a property can get in a short amount of time. It's awesome you help people that can't do it themselves.

Actually it was about a year - lawn work was not the top priority in 2022 - his son did come out and help as much as he can

A wonderful job almost the creeper on the home needed taming too but a felling of ten years neglect to allow safe visibility to the neighbours too,you did a wonderful recovery job there
What a GRATIFYING video right from the very start! The back story was very touching and the two of you high-tailing it out of there because of the dog -you with the serious survival look and your wife with her quasi-smile! Gee-between snakes , dogs and the unknown you have to be on the alert! What a difference you made with the home-owners wellness! What a transformation!!

Very true - Mr Carmichael took great pride in his yard - in 2021 he was doing his own yard work. His stroke was December 2021 - his son has been helping as much as he can.

As a stroke survivor myself, I'm feel blessed to still be able to do some yard work, though it's an uphill battle sometimes. It's amazing how bad a property can get in a short amount of time. It's awesome you help people that can't do it themselves.
