Well see, there was a time when they used to. I remember watching them, but not particularly from this wonderful era. As the years went by and the times changed, shows that focused on presenting clips like this petered off like some court shows, soap operas, and talk shows today. For the most part, you have to search for them on TH-cam or come across the occasional documentary now.

It is quite clear to hear that the music is played by two pianists at the same time (from the second chorus onwards).
The pianist, Lynn Albritton, is so talented! The dancing is interesting to me because we still danced like this in the 50s and 60s. I did not know that the same style existed in the 40s.
The dancing is Lindy Hop which sometimes in the 50s were referred to as Jitterbug.
Once you can get playing the left hand down, you can do anything with the right hand (that's the easy and fun part! ) What an inspiration! ⭐⭐⭐

Well see, there was a time when they used to. I remember watching them, but not particularly from this wonderful era. As the years went by and the times changed, shows that focused on presenting clips like this petered off like some court shows, soap operas, and talk shows today. For the most part, you have to search for them on TH-cam or come across the occasional documentary now.
