Thank you very much for your kind words and blessings! The music of Bach is marvelous in that its mere existence is purely and solely for the glory of the one true God!
      Blessings to you as well!

Hi Deagan - congratulations on this big accomplishment! The amount of work you put into this recital and the YT video is readily apparent. What's next for you?

Kind of boring with all that baroken music. A good recital would include a spectrum of composer or at least something beside the constant tweedle - deedly of the baroken stuff. If you can't memorize your music you are playing note from paper and not music from your mind. If one commented only on the technical part of the recital one would have to give you good marks. But music is more than keeping time and not making mistakes. When you learn that, likely you will be a fairly decent organist.

Just out of curiosity, did you watch the whole thing?

For the record: I did not put the recital program together. That’s courtesy of my organ teacher, with a masters in organ performance and who has been playing recitals since college with positive feedback from hundreds, if not thousands, distinguished organists and professors. Some food for thought…

@@TheGeneralHarry Hi Harry - Yes, I did. Perhaps you think I am overly critical. I had known and heard a lot of organists from the 1940 and later era. They seem to be becomong lazier, more focussed on pistons and +/- buttons, page turners and face book muic sheets. They play like machines and generally baroque music which most audiences don't like. Sure, there are exceptions - The D minor being one. You did not comment on the first part of the program when it was wallowing in the comupter-like nonotony of trishs and runs and such, It takes too long to explain. Take my comment as you will. When the boy shucks the fascination with baroque pieces and learns there is some real music that audiences do love.... Yeah, he might be good at it. A Fred Swann, Biggs, Schriener he will never be. THEY understood what an organ was really about. They played from memory, they played music, not notes. There is a difference.

@@DAJones565 You rely on "Other People" to give your professor some credibility. In fact it demonstrated that individual is quite like the present day key pushers. Don't tell my how many people praise an individual. Remember, you can fool some of the people some of the time and... The proof of the pudding is looking at the program and listening to the interpretation. And, by the way, DO you question the skill and credibility of the people I mentioned. If so you have been even more deluded than I though.

@@organbuilder272 look mate. You said he only played baroque music. Suite Breve is not baroque. Along with that, go watch some Netherlands Bach Society. Even if you don’t like the music, notice that the videos are a) incredibly well produced and made and more importantly b) all the players have music in front of them. Even in things such as singing many people use music when they sing. Along with that, as a reasonably proficient instrumentalist myself, I know that having music is useful for you to be able to feel the music better and play more beautifully since you don’t have to spend any extra time wondering if the notes you played were right
