Hello Carly, greetings from Greybull, Wyoming, USA! I can totally relate to that feeling when you know exactly what you want to say, but the moment you hit record, your mind goes blank. I had to shift my mindset from thinking, 'I’m recording for strangers,' to pretending I was just FaceTiming my sister. That way, I could relax, ramble on, and then use editing to shape it into the message I wanted to share. It’s the same in public - it feels awkward, but I remind myself that people just assume I'm FaceTiming a friend. By the way, you have something not every creator has: authenticity. You come across as such a positive and bright soul! Honestly, if you hadn’t mentioned you were a new creator, I would’ve thought you’d been doing this for a while. Your message about stepping out of your comfort zone, I totally feel that. As an introvert, it’s hard, and it only takes one negative experience to make you hesitate again. But I agree, we should all push ourselves to do that more often. I just subscribed and I’m excited to see more of your content. Best of luck!
Thank you for a really lovely comment, and hello to you in Greybull. I’ve filmed a few videos now, it’s easier when I’m doing something else like walking or driving. I’m looking forward to bringing you more content and getting better at it.

Maybe try to start with patreons who support you financially ?
I am working on a few things behind the scenes.
