I made national park quilts for my adult children a couple of years ago at Christmas-their favorite parks- Zion, Grand Canyon , and Acadia. They loved them. The graphic posters were designed by Anderson Design here in Nashville. Then Riley Blake printed them.

Hi Pat! Oh yes, those NP panels- agree, great graphics. Just finished a CA Beaches NP panel quilt in my tackle it Tuesday quest to finish up a few (ahem) panel projects in my stash. Always need to make space for new fabric, right? Also, a few years ago, I gifted a quilt for my in-laws’ RV using that huge panel with the NP medallion in the center, surrounded by all the smaller squares of parks- 54x72” panel !! (Can’t seem to get enough of them, lol). Love your videos & appreciate the effort you put in to keep us all feeling creative! ❤😊

I’m not able to see along with this block Wednesday but I’m loving the blocks folks are making. One time, I went to Arches NP with a friend. We went to Sand Dune Arch and it was just crawling with rowdy kids playing in the sand. My friend really wanted a picture of the arch, but she couldn’t get an angle without a bunch of people in it, so we decided to come back first thing in the morning. We were in the park by 6 am the next morning and made our way to Sand Dune Arch. The wind overnight had reshaped and smoothed out the sand. The only footprints before ours that morning were animal tracks. We saw some rabbit tracks, mostly along the sides of the path, and then we saw the S-shaped tracks of a snake! It was my first time seeing it in person. I thought it was the coolest thing, but my friend was terrified. She got over it as we rounded the bend and saw that we were indeed the only people at that arch. It was magical.

So many animal tracks cat dog and coyote in my yard. Of course there were the grizzly tracks in Glacier park. 😊
