    Wow. It seems like each character is searching for “Euphoria” in something different.

    Excellent work! I am looking forward to seeing which characters will be able to integrate their shadow selves and individuate in comparison to those who will become more firmly entrenched in their maladaptive personality style and seek out other characters who can complement said personality style (an example being Cassie as the histrionic moth that is drawn to Nate’s narcissistic fire or even Cassie and Maddy as two sides of the same histrionic coin; one is more passive and effeminate (Cassie) while the other is more aggressive and bombastic (Maddy). All musings aside, keep up the great content!

    Surprised you didn’t mention McKay. Dude had a backstory

    • @hwoods-kg1jf
      @hwoods-kg1jf 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I'm not the biggest fan of McKay but I liked his backstory. I like how when he got into a fight at the football game when he was a little kid and he was in and his dad was talking to him and McKay said "But Daddy! He said..." and his dad said, "I don't give a good god damn! He wants to make you angry! He wants to pick on you! People are gonna do this you're whole life!" (something along those lines. Not exactly what he said but you get it.) and then he said, "What you do is, you hold it all back. All that anger, rage, and determination and when that snap comes...you let it EXPLODE!" and then it showed him winning a touchdown as a teenager in high school. And his dad is right. People picking on you to get a reaction out of you is a distraction. Use it for upping your game at the opportune times! When "that snap comes, you EXPLODE!" (you win!)

    I was a Lexie in high school. Overshadowed, overlooked, dressed as Bob Ross at a sexy Halloween party xD While the thought that a public school would ever greenlight a student's play, let alone have the funding to produce it, was ridiculous, seeing Lexie read everyone for filth was weirdly cathartic for me.

    I'm sorry, but Cal didn't "have a kid without his consent". He chose to have sex and had a consequence from that. If we're going to shame women for getting pregnant, let's have the same if not more shame towards the guys for being completely irresponsible.

    It’s kinda good series but it gonna be great if they cared a little bit abt the small details like s,ex sceneries ( it so over tbh ) , make it more real one , n s1 was much better s2 , s2 hasnt a lot of thing that happened, maybe it was only good 4 rue n faze , the other characters they almost didn’t change at all

    I'll be real for a second: the only reason Sam L got this was because his dad is a famous director and because Euphoria was an already existing IP from the other side of he globe. He was born on 3rd base thinking he hit a triple and as the most recent season showed, he's unable to create something new and interesting without help. Sorry, but Sam needs the help of a writer's room, which is not always a bad thing.

    Short Backstory isn't fantastic writing, its basic work, but seeing other shows, makes this stand out, its not a compliment for the business, great writing is considered a rough watch and is changed to neon lights and creative angles and editing. Because instagram generation wants to see and not to think, tic-tok generation will want 10 min episodes and constant narration of what is going on...

    The zoomer jock quarterback makes zero sense. That generation grew up completely emasculated and I found it far fetched it’s a very gen x way of writing his generation into a generation that really doesn’t have that, they’re not allowed to express being the aggressive jock. I just didn’t buy it and it threw the show off for me.
